I have been to other auto mechanics where it seems to be the norm to be overcharged, left waiting, and treated like I was a big dummy while they were working hard on all the ways they could overcharge me.This is why I love Walt's Danville Service. I didn't think places like this existed anymore. I know without a doubt that Wally will not only be able to fix my car better than anyone else, he will bend over backwards trying to find the least expensive way to do it while still keeping the car as safe as possible. I can not tell you what peace of mind that gives me.\r more

I first went to Wally with a problem with my 2007 Saab 9-5 after another mechanic had misdiagnosed the problem, Wally identified the issue and fixed it without a problem. I have used his services about four times since.\r more

We've been taking our cars to Wally for several years now. He is honest and considerate and is willing to take as much time as needed to discuss the repairs. He's done maintenance, repair and body work on three of our cars and I've never been disappointed. He's also very personable, and one of the few people who can get me to smile while he's delivering bad news to me. I've recommended Wally to all my friends.\r more

""We brought our 2008 Grand Cherokee in because the turn signals were out. Jeep said they needed to take the whole column apart and it would be over $600.\r Wally concurred, but said, """"Let me check it out a little more"""". Ten minutes in, he had the column slightly apart, and he fixed it! Loose wire or switch. Done. $60 or $80, I don't remember, but a heck of lot less than what Jeep wanted, or what some other mechanic would have pushed for.\r This is just one of the pleasant surprises we've had through the years.
