Very condescending. Treated me like a kid. No patience with Radio Control hobby newcomers I guess. Won't go there again! Cons: Too ""busy"" to help much.

I read a couple of negative reviews of Walters on this site. Walters??? Really???\r Such a swell old style hardware store with a huge and creative stock of things you never saw before or a willingness to patiently listen to you and special order parts if they can think of a place to get them for you.\r Bent over backwards to be helpful!\r Great place to browse to see things you'll learn you need! more

Bought a used rc nitro truck needed help and parts went out of there way to help out! wHILE I WAS THERE ALSO ASKED ABOUT A HELICOPTER NOT TO BUY JUST ASK HE GOT ONE OUT TO FLY JUST SO I COULD SEE WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT GREAT PLACE Pros: NEEDED HELP Cons: NOTHING more

Bent Over Backwards for Me!!!! 2/7/2008

For a first time customer in a pinch my wife and i were given great personal attention in resolving our concern. Three other local businesses referred us to them and in the end we wound up paying only $1.99 to fix our problem. Kudos to this local business in my area that doesn't get lost in the nonsense that the big chain stores do. When a big chain store suggests going to him I know now where the rest of my business is going. Thank you so much Walter's Hardware!!!! Drew. Pros: Great Personall Attention Service Cons: NONE! more
