Walter, with Wally's Wholesale, is that honest, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth used truck dealer that we all thought doesn't exist. Specifically, after HOURS of internet searching, multiple phone calls, and follow-up emails relating to vehicle questions and requests for additional pictures and contact with countless dealers across the country, it doesn't take long for us (the consumer) to get that feeling that there is a lot of wool pulling, dishonesty, and evasiveness out there...until I made contact with Walter. Finally, a dealer that wasn't put off by taking time to ask specific questions about specific vehicles on his lot. Finally, a dealer that promptly responds to emails or info requests, and makes it past the first round if the first couple questions doesn't result in a sale. Have you ever had a dealer, at your request, actually take good pictures of minor body defects or unique features of a vehicle, to save you a trip and the possibility of being disappointed? That's Walter. He even told me that he'd rather me learn more about the vehicle I was interested in before I made a drive and was disappointed! Walter is actually looking to sell the very vehicle that I was looking to buy: a sound mechanical truck, a strong diesel with plenty of life left, and a well cared-for value with super nice exterior. 7.3's, duramax's, cummins, Wally has an eye for these trucks and more. Lets not forget, these are used trucks. Know the little quirks of each because there are trade-offs. Some manufacturers have awesome engines and weak trannys. Some have great engines and trannys but little problems with window switches or instrument clusters...you get the point. The unique thing about Walter is that he won't sell these vehicles with known problems. One of Walter's trucks that he purchased had a tranny glitch on the way to his lot, so it was actually re-routed to Walter's go-to truck repair shop, receiving a new tranny and upgraded heavy duty torque converter. Walter encouraged me to give the tranny shop a call with any specific questions I had. Wow, that's the truck I want to buy. Ready to go as soon as you drive it home. Do your homework, so you don't waste Walter's time and wear him out with mechanical questions because you didn't do your own research. Walter never seemed bothered by my questions, but instead, he efficiently was able to steer me toward the right combination of features resulting in the best fit for my described intended use. When I look for my next truck, am I going to look up Walter's inventory first? Absolutely! Am I going to recommend Wally's Wholesale to friends and family? Absolutely!
