Wow! Nothing like fresh and healthy food delivered straight to your door that only takes a few minutes to cook and rudimentary knowledge of how to use a toaster over and microwave. So nice to get home from work and not have to worry about dinner. The food is superbly prepared and sure to impress. But it's the whole Wally's package that really pulls it all together--from the newsletter, website and blog, to Wally himself delivering the food to your door, Wally's Food Company is just a fun, fresh experience all around. A Godsend! 10/24/2005

We received gift certificates to Wally's as a gift when our baby was born, and the service has helped keep us sane while we don't have time to cook ourselves. I was tempted to spend our whole gift certificate on molten chocolate cakes, but my husband intervened and we were thrilled with everything we've had-- the fish is particularly good, and the butternut squash soup was better than my own. The deliveries are always on time, and Wally usually lets me know ahead of time a specific half hour window for delivery. The instructions for reheating are clear and easy, and the online menu choices change often enough that we always find both old favorites and something new and exciting to try. Wally's makes pulling it all off possible. Creative and delicious, comfortable and healthy, this fine food delivery business impresses me as a cook, foodie, and hostess. Whether you need respite from the seared tuna with wasabi mashed potato plates served up ubiquitously at restaurants around the city, or simply want to stock up on quality food to serve on your home china, this is a great solution. Wally's somehow perfectly balances fine food and comfort food, and damn they make it seem easy. more

Great food! 4/12/2005

Wally's isn't a restaurant, but the quality of the food is better than you'd get at many places. It's gourmet quality, it's easy to heat up at home, and it tastes great. Don't miss the macaroni and cheese - it's fantastic! more
