When we started our search for the perfect Orthodontist I decided to include all three of my kids in case they all ended up needing a mouth remodel. We asked for references from friends, family and neighbors. We visited four Orthodontic offices and also called and did online research on several others. Experienced parents suggested we strongly consider location for convenience purposes, while others applauded peripheral bells and whistles and waiting room comfort for parents and siblings. After visiting a very old school practice and finding the bedside manner a little off-putting and disquieting we also visited an office with the exact opposite feel; it was shiny, new, and flashy, with lots of expensive goodies. While it is hard to resist the appeal of fresh-baked cookies, I worried that the practice might be a little too big and impersonal (and gosh it just felt expensive) for our style. So we kept looking. \r

Finally we visited the office of Dr. Wallace Wong of Wong Orthodontics at the suggestion of my sister-in-law whose two sons had already completed their treatment (with one still to go) and flashed envy-inducing perfect smiles at all family occasions. I will confess, I didn’t go to him first, because really, don’t we all have at least a subconscious rebellion against familial advice? I felt pretty dumb for waiting because I knew Dr. Wong was a winner from our very first meeting. \r

But of course having a nice office is the easy part. For an Orthodontist to truly earn and maintain customer loyalty they have to deliver an excellent result with outstanding customer service. Dr. Wong does both. He is an affable soft-spoken man who demonstrates a quietly intense pursuit of perfection. His office is impeccable, his staff is amazing and efficient and friendly. His congenial and thorough descriptions and explanations of his patient plan left me feeling confident and sure at every step along the way of Sweetie Boy’s treatment. So sure, that I happily foisted my middle son Venom Pen into his chair and when the time comes for nine year old Sistafoo to embrace braces, Dr. Wong will be our go-to-guy. \r
