Walkies Etc!

Michelle handled my pit mix shelter dog with ease, from the start. She knows what she's doing, and gives it her all. My dog needs more exercise than some other breeds, and Michelle doesn't skimp on her walks. I can tell my dog has had an energetic walk from how relaxed she is afterwards. more

The owner, Michelle, is simply fantastic with dogs, and people, too! She is warm, accommodating, professional, and above all, she LOVES dogs. We dropped off our three chihuahuas on Saturday morning. Within minutes, all were frolicking in her lovely back yard with the other ""campers"". She sent us messages during the week we were gone to keep us updated. We were confident from the moment we dropped off our dogs that they would not only be under the best of care, but would have a great time! Our dogs hate to be left alone, and vacations are difficult because we can't find good housesitters. Not any more! This is so much better! Our dogs were happy to see us and seemed happy, well-fed and cheerful. They continued to play with the other dogs while we chatted about our vacation with Michelle. This was our first time with Walkies, and we will continue to be clients for as long as we have dogs! Michelle is wonderful with my shy and sensitive dog. For over 2 years now, she comes and walks her whenever I can't and gives her medication when necessary. We've called on Walkies, etc many times to take care of Maisie, our Corgi, and Michelle always welcomes her in like one of the family. Michelle was awesome! She took care of my dog Dublin perfectly. He seemed very happy and well cared for when I came back from my trip. She even sent me pictures of him via text message to show me how well he was doing. She is very fun and easy to get a long with and very helpful. She clearly loves dogs and knows how to treat them the way a real dog lover would. I highly reccomend using Walkies next time you leave town and need your dog cared for. Thanks Michelle!! more

Michelle is great! My dogs LOVE her. I have two small terrier mixes, and I spent a year trying to find a good dog-sitter. There are a lot of choices in LA, but every place I went to made me jump through a lot of hoops for very little personal care. Finally I found Walkies last year and I haven't been anywhere else since! Michelle provides excellent care and will treat your dogs like on of her own. She pays careful attention to your dog's personal needs, and is very patient and kind to all of her guests. I always feel confident that my dogs will have a great time when they go, so I never feel guilty anymore when I go out of town. Walkies is great! you won't regret it! more

Whenever I cannot be home, i take Nikki to Walkies because I know that she will have the best of care and that Michelle treats her as if she belonged to her. Nikki loves ""Camp Walkies"", she has lots of room to run and other dogs to play with and, most important, she loves Michelle - I can tell, she is so excited when I take her there and not quite as excited to see me when I come to take her home! Michelle at Walkies etc is a life saver for me! I am a ?single mother? of an 11 year old cocker spaniel and leaving him was a nightmare every time I had to go out of town. That was until I met Michelle. I left my baby with her for over 3 weeks (in Ocotber 2008) and he adapted so well and so quickly I was a bit jealous. But that goes to show what kind of care taker Michelle is. I feel so good now knowing my baby and I are not alone anymore. Michelle is just around the corner for us and I recommend her HIGHLY! My three Chihuahuas go to Walkie's/Michelle's house whenever they can't be home. There is a beautiful yard for sunbathing and playing and Michelle is tolerant of my one grumpy Chihuahua. She totally ""gets it"" as they all have their little idiosynchrocies. She also walks them or does a house visit/play session when I have to work late. I highly recommend her to all of my friends and neighbors. I feel so lucky to have found her :) more

Michelle at Walkies, Etc is fantastic. She takes wonderful care of my two dogs when I go out of town. Aside from the usual feeding and walking, she gives them any meds they may be on and she always lets me know if anything else is going on with my pups or my house. She once noticed that my puppy had a rash and was quick to help take care of it. I high recommend her services!! more
