Jason Walker was hired to build a retaining wall. He took 50% of the cost of the job up front, which was paid to Jason Walker. Jason came and poured the footers and put up the initial cement blocks for the wall (the wall was to be covered with stone work). The wall sat for approx 6 weeks unfinished and Jason lied his butt of about reasons he couldn't finish. Jason is a con-artist and a liar. Jason was asked to return the 50% deposit and didn't. We had Jason put sod in our backyard and extend an aggregate pad. The sod implementation was rather rushed. We had weeds coming up under the sod and the individual sod sections were not butted up against each other tightly. There is an uneveness in the yard as if there are ""potholes"" in various areas. Also our downspouts were damaged by the equipment smashing them and were not replaced. The aggregate was poured and not correctly leveled since water pools against the house instead of draining away. Also the pad was not smoothed out in various areas as there are depressions in a few spots. Jason promised to come back to fix it but he has not done so. I have called and even talked to him in a home improvement store parking lot and was promised he would come by to fix it. I have not seen or heard from him. I would not recommend him. more
