Although I use Walgreens a lot because of its proximity to my home, I'm trying to transfer my prescriptions gradually to another pharmacy because of several extremely frustrating situations. Their customer service is inconsistent and when it's bad, it's really bad. I've had several occaisions when they did not have the medication we needed and not only did they not bother to call and let me know (with a 1 day lead time to pick up) but they also had to be forced into checking with even one other Walgreens for availability! If it were only one or two times that I was met with such poor service it could be coincidence. However the multiple times I've had to deal with their lack of concern for filling their customer's needs and then the who-cares attitude that went along with it a few times adds up to a recommendation for others to go elsewhere!
