This afternoon we picked up our girls from Waggin' Tails after their first visit (two nights' boarding in a luxury suite) and ... wow! We are very impressed. First, the ranch is very clean and modern, unlike some we've visited (no small task when dealing with animals!), and it's QUIET. Not bats#!t crazy like an animal shelter or some vets' offices but quiet and peaceful, so Waggin' Tails is either soundproofed well or the dogs are ... happy! Second, one of our dogs has several special needs, and the very professional staff didn't bat an eyelash at having to administer her meds (and her condition is such that we can tell immediately if the meds haven't been done correctly). The best part? Our fur babies weren't acting like freed hostages when we picked them up--that's a pleasant surprise! We also appreciated the take-home instructions--though we're experienced dog owners, we'd never been provided this information and it really has helped them settle back in at home. We now feel much more free to travel, knowing that our hairiest ""kids"" are well taken care of. The rates are reasonable (no extra charge for meds, one-on-one attention, swimming [!!!], etc., and the rates are actually lower than at our vet, where they would be confined to runs and wouldn't have free time outdoors, just a few leashed walks daily), and the place is definitely worth the drive. more

The best place to leave your dog!!! 5/8/2012

We have been using Waggin Tails since before they were officially open. Denise & her staff are truly the best when it comes to providing A+ care for your pet. My girl get excited as soon as we hit the driveway and she doesn't even turn her head to say "good-bye" when she goes in the door! I know that by her actions that she is loved and spoiled by the Waggin Tails staff. They all know her and she knows them. Waggin Tails is the only place that my girl goes to for daycare, grooming, and boarding. Whenever she is there, I never have to worry about her - I am sure that if she could talk, she would tell me that Waggin Tails is her second home. Pros: null Cons: null more

Best Kennel in Town 4/20/2012

I have tried many kennels for my dog and never flet comfortable leaving him, I asked a good friend of mine who has 2 dogs where she took them when they went on vacation and she recommend Waggin Tails and raved about it. So I gave it a try and LOVED it. The staff was so friendly with me and my dog (who is my only child) when I picked him up after being gone he was exhausted and well taken care of. The facilities are extremely clean, they spend hours playing and giving extra attention to each dog, loving them like they are their own. There is plenty of room for dogs and cats of all sizes to run and play and have a vacation on their own. I never have to worry about if my dog is not being taken care of becuase I know he is, I especially like that someone is on site at all times!! I wouldn't go anywhere else but Waggin Tails! I also loved how my dog sent me a post card from Waggin Tails with his picture telling me he was ok! I still have that picture on my fridge. Pros: null Cons: null more

A Place We Trust to Leave our "Babies" 4/19/2012

When my husband and I first moved to Houston, we tried several different kennels for our dogs. They would come home all wound up and didn't seem happy. Then we found Waggin' Tails and haven't looked back. This place is friendly, roomy, and I know my dogs enjoy themselves when they are there. I know that when I am on vacation they are also on vacation, exercising and being well taken care of. They come home happy (and exhausted!) which is so nice after we have been traveling. We have no kids, our dogs are our children and I wouldn't trust them with anyone but Denise and her staff. Pros: null Cons: null more

My Dogs' Vacation Spot 4/19/2012

When I go on vacation, or away for business, my dogs and cats go on vacation to Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch. To be able to leave my dogs at Waggin' Tails and know that my big boy who likes a cushy bed will always have one, to know that my dog that needs drops in his eye twice a day will get them, that the one who needs a bone to chew on will have one - these things and more mean so much to my husband and I and give us real peace of mind while we are gone. Waggin' Tails is a super clean, fun place for the dogs with extremely efficient, professional staff that all obviously love dogs. What more could you ask for? FABULOUS PLACE!!!!! Best Place for Your Pets! 4/19/2012

Waggin Tails is the ONLY place that we take our pets! We were one of the first clients at Waggin Tails and have always had a positive experience there. You know it is a great place when your dogs start whining in the car because they know that they are getting close! Since our dogs are like our children, it is such a relief to know that they not only love going there but are always treated like they are part of the family. Waggin' Tails has been a huge part of the Fulshear community for many years and as a business owner who has worked for years with the Waggin' Tails owner, I knew I was boarding my 3 dogs with someone who would spoil them as much as I do! I was given a tour of the clean and organized facilities and the staff took note of my concerns as a first-time boarder. After picking up my dogs, I received an awesome report of all they had done every day and how they behaved! I couldn't have asked for better treatment for my "babies"! We have also used Waggin' Tails grooming services on separate occasions and attended lots of their FREE events for the community. Be very careful here!! 4/9/2012

My ex-girlfriend, Adrienne Parisi (who I later discovered to be married), works here. She has told me things like, a clients dog was there under quarantine before being flown to France with the owner and the dog was not checked on regularly, was found in distress. They loaded the dog in my GF's Suburban, suffering and took the dog to a vet 15 miles away rather than right next door to Waggin Tails - the dog died. Also, the owners father injured a dog with a weed wacker. Another dog was not being watched outside and was injured trying to get under the fence. And, one Yorkie had gotten out and the staff didn't know until a couple showed up with the dog and told the staff the found the dog walking down Highway 1093. And, they regularly overbook and put dogs in the bathroom and charge the client for a suite. Just be careful! Guess hiring a woman who is a liar and cheater should be cause to rethink trusting such a place with your dog?? Pros: null Cons: null more

Pet Paradise! 6/4/2010

When I do get another dog, Waggin Tails Pet Ranch is where they will come! I completely enjoyed my visit to the Pet Ranch, watching all the fun and pampering the dogs received by the professional staff, and listening to several customers proclaiming their praises for Waggin Tails. In the past I had always been extremely reluctant to leave my pets in a kennel, but there is no doubt your pet will beg you to take them to Waggin Tails Pet Ranch! I had a blast watching the dogs play in the pool, and you got to meet the Sheriff! Pros: Full Service! Clean! Inventive! Professional caring staff! Cons: None more

The Best Place for Daycare & Boarding! 2/22/2010

Over the last 10 years, my husband and I lived in different cities around the U.S. Our jobs require us to travel often, and our dogs are our "kids." We have always felt a sense of guilt about dropping our dogs off for boarding. That was until we found Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch. Our dogs LOVE Waggin Tails! Its like a big party for them. The staff and owner, Denise, is fully committed to the needs of the pet and the owners. During Hurricane Ike, while we were away on a scheduled trip, Denise and the team kept us up to date with all the fun the dogs were having playing in the mud after the storm.
