David made me feel very comfortable making decisions. I appreciate the time he spent dealing with all the minor questions I had. He has great aesthetic choices, extreme patience, and honesty. He is a valuable asset to any sales team. I never felt overshadowed or intimidated, only encouraged to listen to my intuition.... very rare to find that in sales! I am glad that I waited to buy the car from him after going to several other dealwerships and dealing with real rude people. 10's for David Paton. more

EXEMPLARY 8/30/2010

The overall experience was exemplary. JD Livesay made it so from our first meeting, through the ordering, then pick up process. Given my preferred GTI configuration, I needed to order the car. JD & I agreed on a very fair price and he made to process simple and stress free. I have already recommended friends to VW of Oakland. more

Great experience. 7/29/2010

We finished signing on the dotted line Saturday, but our car had to be picked up from another dealer so we came back to grab it on Sunday. Turns out there were no detailers working Sunday and we pulled up only to find our salesman, Chris Murphy, out washing the car by himself. Talk about going above and beyond. My wife and I could not have been more impressed by Chris or thankful that he was our salesperson. He was not your "typical car salesman", just a friendly, easy to relate to, nice guy that made our decision very easy--- especially after visiting a few other dealerships. The whole process was a great experience for us so thank you, Chris, and Oakland VW! more

Last week, I purchased the VW Touareg TDI from this dealership. I must say, It was a pleasure. Most of the negotiating was done over the internet, so that made it easy, and when the terms were agreed upon, I came down to inspect the vehicle and sign the papers. It doesn't get much easier than that. more

Service was good for me! 3/24/2010

I had an emergency repair and they got me in that day and got me out in good time. Since I was without my car, they had the shuttle drop me off at home and then pick me up when my car was finished. Excellent Dealership! 12/28/2009

I have bought 3 cars (1 new bugs and 2 used jettas) from Broadway Volkswagen. I have had a GREAT expereince each time with the salesman who were well informed and fair, but not pushy. I have then also serviced all my cars there. The service department is excellent and flexible (Marina is wonderful!). I have even had to rush in for a few things, and they have always worked it out to fit my schedule. They make owning a VW a pleasure. more

Broadway Volkswagen is great 12/8/2009

Im very happy with service! I brought my daughters car in for service, the car was finished on time, I was informed of the procedure from start to finish, no surprises at all. I wanted to check out the CC, which is why I took daughters car in for her. Great car, learned all about the bells and whistles, coming back to purchase it for my wife. The staff in service and sales seem to enjoy the jobs they have, and really love the product they are selling and servicing. The staff is funny, and I had a good time hanging out waiting for my daughters car. Easy in, easy out. more

Buy time ! 8/1/2008

I have 2 small children and to even consider purchasing a car with the little monkeys running around on us I thought, we need to do it now or never! The interior is nice and clean, my salesperson Mike was young but knowledgeable and very friendly. There was no pressure , I would say from start to finish 1 hour, includes test drive and negotiations. It was very smooth and no slimy people, I thought a monster was going to come out of the closet from the reviews. I'm always for the underdog so thank you for my new car and a great experience! more

Want a lemon? Broadway VW has it. 7/29/2008

The odyssey started in March . Bad thermostat. Ive been back 6 times in 4 months for various electrical repairs and broken door locks which occurred weeks after buying the lemon. Still not fixed. You have many options when buying a car. I would avoid Broadway Volkswagon. The service department tried to charge me over $500 on a warrantied repair TWICE. Be careful and look at all your options before choosing this money pit. more
