I finally got my haircut by someone who understands how to help tame my thick hair. I will never get my hair done by any one else. I completely trust his judgement on how to work my hair. I have gotten so many compliments about my style and I can work it different ways and it still looks good. The waiting area is open and comfortable. The hair washing is very enjoyable and relaxing. They even offer you cold bottle waters while you wait. I will be going to back to this VC at LaCantera from now on. Pros: friendly atmosphere, great service more

What can I say about Alex Bautista other than he is a great stylist... He has always done an awesome job on my hair.. Alex has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now, and I couldn't ask for a better stylist. This saavy guy knows exactly what to recommend for my hair and what look goes well with me for whatever occassion. I've found that he gets booked quick, which tells me he really knows his stuff. i've always cut my hair with just the same stylist, but when i moved to san antonio i had no place to go. so my boyfriend, now my husband(:, recommended i go see jennifer at visible changes. i was so pleased with my outcome! jennifer has been cutting my hair for 2 yrs. I love how I can just tell her how i want my hair cut or show her a picture and she does my hair exactly the way i want it. she even did my wedding updo and i got so many compliments on it! i strongly recommend jennifer to anybody and everybody(: ask for jennifer!! As I stated previously, it's a little far out right past 1604 and I10 but it is well worth your time if you find the right stylist. I find it important to have one who is skilled in their trade to keep me updated on what should and should not be done to the top of my head hehe. I mean after all, we go to salons for their expert work and educated advice. I'd definately recommend Alex. His thorough consults have always resulted in my walking out the door a happy customer! That's saying something due to my wavy thick hair that is pretty difficult to tame! Prices are reasonable, leaving you with a great sense that you just got a terrific value, which I gotta say is great! If you are looking for a great haircut, Jennifer does the best job. She is very talented and knows how to style your hair exactly how you want it. She is experienced and has been with the company many years. My hair always feels silky and smooth when I leave and she makes it look fabulous. Jennifer has been cutting my hair for over 9 years now and from the first time I went to her I was instantly impressed. She has a tremendous amount of experience and works quickly. Her cuts are clean and sharp - spot on to what I ask for. My hair truly feels silky, light and bouncy after Jennifer cuts my hair and she styles it exactly the way I like it. I have waited 5 years to cut my hair so I can donate it and I did went to this place just so they can cut it. Well waited 6 more months!\r And here I am very HAPPY with my new dew! I had dread getting my hair vut jusst like the dentist. But when I went in I had gone with my sister so she could get her hair fixed as well. I took her while I was waiting on her I decided to get mine as well!\r Well sure enough butterflies came to my stomach. But one SAMANTHA started cutting my hair I was happy.\r I had asked her to cut it but not much. I have been looking for someone to cut my hair for a long time and went through many really bad doos. My daughter went to the Visible changes in Dallas for a wedding and told me about the shop. Elena new just what I wanted even though I did not, She made me look younger and didn't shave my hair off as so many have done in the past. She also recomended Melissa for my highlights. They look so natural I feel 25 again. Thank you both and I will be telling all my friends, young and old. BTW the shampoo ladies are really message therapist in disguise!! I will be back. So i have gotten the Keratin treatment ((brazilian treatment)) on my hair twice. and it is amazing. I have thick, coarse, long frizzy, curly hair. and the keratin is the solution to all my problem. I use to take about an hour to straighten my hair.. after the treatment took me about 20 mins.\r \r At La Cantera, the stylist that did the treatment was elena. Wonderful job. She toook her time, chatted it up with me, and made sure I was set with everything in order to make the most of my new shiny, silky hair.\r \r if you feel that your hair is a pain. go to Elena so she can get the keratin on your hair. From the front desk, to the person doing your shampooing then to the stylist, the customer service is great. I highly recommend that you go here. I've been numerous times and I have always had a good experience. They are also up-to-date with their products and I will definitely be going back. Melissa has been coloring my hair for over 7 years now. She has a tremendous amount of experience with color and always produces FABULOUS results. Ive been to many hair stylist before finally finding Melissa and even a few after and never as anyone compared to the color and highlights she does. I'd recommend her to anyone, be sure to let her know what your hoping to achieve and she'll produce the results your looking for. You wont be disappointed! I have been with TINA for years...she is THE VERY BEST...highly experienced..she even trains the new color people....i do live closer to la cantera but i will make the drive to northstar mall just to see her. NOONE and I really do mean NOONE can do what she does to me...it's just not the same. When she does my color she personalizes it just for me...then she recommended Patty...great haircuts & the styling...she actually blowdries it the way i like it....They are sooooo nice compared to the other visible changes at la cantera!!!!! If anyone is making a compromise just because of distance...it's really not that far away..I WOULD RATHER BE HAPPY AND DRIVE THAN COMPLAIN ABOUT MY HAIR AND GO CLOSER TO HOME OR WORK.... I have been going to VC for 20 years and I have NEVER been disappointed! I have been with Elena for the last three years and she is the best. She has great technique, she is always learning the newest styles and techniques. She is now doing the Keratin treatment. I have had the Keratin treatment done before at another salon before VC started offering it. I had two treatments done before Elena did my third. I will say that though the same product was used, Elana's results were far superior. She did my hair in smaller sections, which takes longer, but produces the best result. It is a little more expensive than other places, but I will say it is definitely worth it! I will continue to go to Elena for my Keratin! Pros: Great treatment for curly/frizzy hair more

I have been very pleased with the quality of cuts I've gotten from Visible Changes over the past 12 years (no kidding). I have been told you can tell a good haircut after the hair starts to grow out, and I've found this to be true here. You may pay more at the front, but I feel I really save since I can go weeks and weeks still happy with my hair (and I generally don't like it too long). I would especially recommend Imke, one the master stylists. She's very good, very professional, and can even make you smile if you're having a bad day. If you're looking for a style, you'll get it here, and if all you want is a cut, you can get that too (Did I mention that I routinely frequented Visible Changes for my inspection haircuts when I was enrolled at a private military academy?) In other words, don't worry about getting something the stylist wants, but that you don't want. Don't like to experiment that much? Neither do I. But be open too suggestion. For the novice, Visible Changes is a great place. And for the veterans, I bet they will learn something too.
