Editorial review from Citysearch 6/15/2012

Awesome Gym! I love working out at the downtown Vision Quest location! The womens locker room is huge and they have a sauna and a steam room. Plus a hot tub! They have tons of cardio equipment and weight lifting too. I get a great all round workout and I am ready for the rest of my day. Plus, you just have to love that low price (= more

Highly recommended! 3/6/2012

It is an old gym, but my husband and I love this Gym. There are many reasons why we love this gym so much; Staff and trainers are awesome, good events which enhance health, no shallow people who come to gym which annoy others, but solid good people who care about health. The members LOVE this gym and stay long a time. We are leaving because of moving out from Seattle, but I will surely miss this gym very much! more

Good, basic gym 7/11/2011

Close to work, plenty of room, gigantic shower/changing room. What's not to like? Works well with my schedule, and it's clean and the employees extremely friendly. more

I'd rather become a eunuch than join this gym 6/7/2011

0 Stars. This gym is an abomination. I worked with 3 personal trainers over 4 months, because the other 2 each quit after a month. So apparently it's even bad for employees. Each worse than the last. Really scrapping the bottom of the barrel here. I cancelled my membership 4 months ago and just noticed the other day that they were STILL billing me. I went in and they claimed to have lost the paperwork and refused to reimburse me for the previous months unless I had held on to the receipt that they supposedly gave me at cancellation, which obviously I hadn't because why would you keep a receipt if you just talked to a human who swore he was going to run your paperwork immediately. Additionally, they are the absolute pushiest salesmen ever. Every time you talk with someone it's ""Do you want to buy 2 overpriced cans of protein powder"" or selling personal trainer time, supplements, classes, anything. I know all gyms push this stuff, but's it's SO bad here and the main reason that I TRIED to quit back in February. Their ""hot tub"" downstairs is usually at about 85 degrees, so it feels like a shared lukewarm bath. The first time I tried to quit this gym the employee practically begged me not to quit, demanded 50 different answers and was incredulous that I thought I could possibly survive without my membership and told me I would get rapidly out of shape. This is after not even having come here for 3 months prior to that. (Obviously, I did not, as that is just absurd and I keep very active still) If you'll read my other reviews you'll see that I generally only leave positive ones. I prefer to dish out praise, not to be a complainer. But seriously, this place has to go. In case management reads this and attempts to give me my $80 back to take down this review, don't bother. It's not worth it to me. I'd much rather see you fail, and will be recommending that our HR team takes your BS promotion out of our corporate benefits package in favor of a different company with a shred of integrity. I hope this place closes down and the owners go bankrupt. They clearly have not a shred of decency in them. Avoid this gym with the same vigor you would use to avoid walking in on your parents having kinky bondage sex. If you don't believe me look at the other 20 reviews on Yelp that tell you how awful this godforsaken place is. more

easy 5/25/2011

I like a gym that i can get easily in and out of. This one has a good array of equipt, nice big locker rooms, and a convenient smoothie bar to pick up something on my way out. more

Great Gym 5/11/2011

This is a really nice basic gym that i hit up on my lunch. They have a great aray of cardio equipt to clear my head and all the weight equipt you could ever want. But my favorite thing to do is the classes. I do the TRX classes with Wes and it really kicks my butt. I have toned up so much since I started doing this program, i sleep better and i feel better. I love the fact that its all body weight exersices. I used to wuss out of a lot of things that involved using weights but because this is all body weight i can't let myself use that excuse anymore and i love it! more
