Wrong bulbs installed 8/7/2013

In order to pass my safety inspection, new tail/brake light bulbs were installed in my Toyota Sienna. The bulbs were not the correct wattage and caused the fuses to short out, causing me to have no brake lights while driving, and my gear shift to lock up when starting the car. I had to take my car to the Toyota dealership to have the correct bulbs installed and the fuses replaced at the cost of $28. After 14 years of safety inspections at this location, I will not return. more

Amazing 8/6/2013

I've just relocated from NY and the techniction for the emission & safety inspection was explained in detail. After my inspection the gentlemen reviewed with me what I needed to register my vehicle with DMV & welcomed me to the neighborhood. Being a young female this extra information was greatly appreciated more

Problems with service 8/6/2013

My car had 4 new tires put on and a safety and emission test. I had 2 problems, the first was that 2 of the tires that were put on were not the kind that I had bought and weren't the same kind as the other 2 new tires that were put on. The 2nd problem I had was one of the lug nuts that were put back on my car was not the same size as the originals. My lug nut wrench would not fit over the head of this one nut. If I didn't discover that immediately when I took my car home and looked it over that could have been bad. If I had a flat tire, I would not have been able to get the tire off because of this one lug nut that didn't match the size of all the others. Both issues were corrected and a Manager at the store put a credit on my account for a free oil change. Everyone was professional and they did give me the credit, but having 2 bad issues on the same visit is not good. more

There is no word to explain how satisfied I am with the people that work there at the shop. I have been going to them for the last 10+ years and never have any problem and always get my cars back in tip-top shape. I have been going to VA Tire and Auto for 8 years and the service is always terrific. They always give me a reasonable estimate before doing any service. The oil changes usually include other checkups so they can warn me that something is not right. The turn-around time for repairs seems quite quick -usually a day or less- other places in the past would hold my car for days.\r more
