bought two tickets for main cabin select ( business class ) from LAX to JFK and paid more than double comparing with main cabin ticket prices , the seats are exactly the same just with a little more leg room , and my seats was in the exit row, I asked the flight attendant for two glass of tonic water and he said we do not have enough tonic water the tonic water is for the first class ( this plane has only 8 seats for first class) this is a rape off , I will never fly virgin America or Virgina Atlantic , more

Disgraceful Response Re Ticket Refund 7/7/2010

I called Virgin America about getting the refund due for a ticket purchased within 24 hours. The woman who answered said she'd have to look into it and would get back to me by email -- eventually. She of course wouldn't identify herself and then gave me a run-around about the measures I could take. Too long to relate all the details, but she occasionally gave plainly misleading answers and all but told me to hang up and then spend the rest of my life trying to reach her again for an actual answer. nightmarish 11/2/2009

The flight was supposed to be 5-1/2 hours. Or so this starts. It was more like a nightmarish 10 by the time we got out of the plane. That was on the way to our destination. On the way back, yet another hellish affair. We got home 6 hours after our estimated return. Should I elaborate? Should I repeat the myriad of excuses given to us to annoy myself all over again? Just take my word for it. This airline has a long way to go. more

Our grandkids were very much excited about flying Virgin, so even though I have Executive Platinum with American Airlines through my job, I had to relent because this was the grandkids' trip after all. more

they're too greedy! 1/20/2009

What's my beef with Virgin? Well, they're too greedy! To be specific, I travel with a service dog and although every other airline we've used (over 20 maybe) would always have us sit at a bulkhead, Virgin greedily sells these seats and always tell us that the seats are taken. They also have terminals at the furthest possible from the exits so you get a tour of the entire airport. Really annoying! more
