I have lived from NY all the way to So Cal and have been to countless vintage stores. With this knowledge, I could safely be called a vintage snob only having loved the top vintage store. When I first moved to So Cal I couldn't find any vintage stores that were employed by rich kids who know nothing about period dated clothing and mainly sold 'used clothes' not 'vintage'. I thought this until I met Stephanie at Vintage Sanctuary! She has been doing this for years and has a real passion for the clothes. I have gone to her several times with items I want to find and she has found them. Keep it up Stephanie thanks! more

Stephanie, the owner is quite helpful and friendly. She carries a nice variety of vintage clothing. I especially like the assorment and quality of slips. more

Greatest vintage store in the west!!! 4/11/2007

This is a great little shop. The owner is a fun, interesting woman, helping her customers with that special "something" they may need for costumes, vintage couture, or fun stuff. Her clothing range goes from the 40s to the 80s- and she accessorizes! Shoes, jewelry, scarves, purses- anything one wants to complete a look, she's got it. She even has fun knick-knacks she finds in her adventures. Like me, she is a Beatle lover who wholly embraces the peace-and-love philosophy. I highly recommend her little shop. It's eye-candy for those who like neat stuff. more

Vintage? 9/7/2005

Good clothing ages well. At Vintage Sanctuary, you can find any style from mild to wild. While "used" can be applied here, they are in great shape at the right price. Accessories, Clothing, Purses, Shoes, all this and more await you. The folks who own this store take great pride in their selection, and will make you feel welcome. Vintage Sanctuary is located between Wisconsin Ave and Minnesota Ave in Oceanside, and are open daily from 12:00pm-8:00pm more

Fun Thrift Store 5/26/2005

Even though it's really small (five people shopping here would render it packed."), this place carries a lot of great things. It's one of those places that is packed with funky clothes of all types, from all eras from the floor to the ceiling. The clothes are seperated between men and women, and by type and color. There is also a smaller room that has bags and shoes, it's a little messy back there, but if you're persistent, you can find something cool. The stuff they carry is pretty good - you can tell someone actually selected these things. more
