Vinjon's Kennel

My daughter worked at Vinjon's Kennel when she was in high school. She was so impressed with the facilities cleanliness and care of the pets that we have used them for boarding and grooming of our two dogs ever since. more

I boarded my two dogs here a couple of times. My older Lhasa needed eye drops 2-3 times daily. The medication and instructions were left with them. When I picked them up her eyes were completely gooey. A sure sign that no eye drop medication was given. They claimed they did and I paid for it. But if they had used them, her eyes would not have been that bad off (she was only there for 3 days and 2 nights). Also, when I got home, I discoved that my aussie did not have his collar on with his dog tags. (I have him on a leash with choke chain so it was noticed when I picked him up). I had to go all the way back to pick up my collar and didn't even get an apology. A while later I met someone who told me she used to work there when she was in high school. She was not surprised with my dogs or my treatment. She said the majority of their staff is high school kids who couldn't care less about your animals. I don't recommend this place and will never go there again. more

This in response to to the letter that ?Dawn Hartman? supposedly posted. My name is Sarah. I just picked up my three pets from Vinjons Kennel in Yorba Linda. Needless to say, this is by far the best experience that I have ever had with a boarding facility. \r \r That said, after reading the initial post by ?Dawn?, I contacted her for verification. She did indeed say that she could supply names of past employees that would agree with her comments. When she failed to send me these emails, she got very upset that I didn?t just believe what she was saying. She also signed the email ?Kim?. Now I don?t know whether or not her name was Kim or Dawn (apparently the real ?Dawn? has since posted to the thread on another site disclaiming what was originally posted. I verified this with Vinjons). I have been a client of Vinjon's for more than 10 years. I have nothing but the best to say about their services. My dogs were always treated with love and respect. The job they do is superb. Thank you for being there to care for the "four legged" members of our families!! Pros: Loving caring people well trained, beautiful building, nicely groomed and seasonally decorated. Cons: Sometimes they forget to put advantage!!! no perks or discounts. more

When we go on vacation I know my dog will be in good hands at Vinjons. The attendants are always nice, and the facilities are kept clean. The dogs have an indoor area and outdoor area to be in. They also provide play time at a minimal fee. more

Vinjon's kennel is entirely filled with animal lovers. The friendly staff takes great care of your pets while you are away. The facilities are clean, and they have a medical staff on hand. The play yard is large and wonderful. The animals are feed high premium food while staying there, (think spa food!) or you do have the option to bring your pet's meals. Since this kennel is full of animal lovers, they will play with your pet while you are gone. You have the option of stating exactly how much play time, outside time and interaction time you pet will receive, more
