Excellent Place for Millitary Books 7/25/2010

I spent at least two hours in this bookstore last year and am looking forward to spend a bit more time this comming August. Amazing amount of books and a really interesting sellection of books about the Civil War, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Pros: great selection of books Cons: can't think of any more

great selection 7/3/2006

i like the village book shop better than some other big places like barnes and noble because not only do they carry a very nice wide variety of books, but they also carry videos, dvds, comic books, and everything you can imagine. its really nice to get a gift from here for giving. i wouldnt recommend a gift certificate because i think this is a private shop. however the prices here are really worth it too. more

Nice little nook 11/23/2005

This bookstore is really nice. They have a HUGe selection of everything from cooking (my favorite) to fiction, to non-fiction. I have shopped here not only for myself, but also for family and friends. The workers have always been nice and happy to help me find a book I might not have found on my own. I really like this place. more

Wonderful Bookstore 11/15/2005

This is a great bookstore that gets all the popular books on best seller lists, and has a diverse selection for everyone. I always come here for gifts. I got the complete Calvin & Hobbes table book here, which I hadn't known about before, and it's been looked at dozens of times since. I can always find something for my fiancee here (who is studying Sociology and Criminology) because they have a really large "true crime" section. Some bookstores don't have that at all. They have a great selection and you can definitely find thoughtful presents here. more
