I called for a regrigerator repair person to fix my fridge. He came to my house 4 hours late and within two minutes said he could not fix my (3 year old) refrigerator. Then he said I owed him 75 dollars for his expertise. This is not a reputable business. He threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay and was very disrespectful to me and my wife. The repair guy also tried to sell me some anti aging drink through his 'side job'. I called another company to come fix my fridge and they had it running in tip top shape in 15 minutes...now that's worth 75 dollars!!
Beware of this company. Steer clear and find someone else who knows what they're doing!!
Update: I called VILLIAGE APPLIANCE SERVICE and spoke to Nicole and Jesse. They both informed me any consumer who calls for their service will be charged $72.50 JUST FOR A TECH TO SHOW UP TO YOUR DOOR. Beyond that, you will have to pay more for a diagnosis....and A LOT more for a repair.
