After leasing an apt for one year, holding up our end as good tenants, we received back only $834 of a $3,400 deposist from this management company. Even though there was no damage to our unit beyond normal wear and tear. We were charged over $1000 to paint a 1700sq ft unit and over $1000 to refinish the hardwood floors which were only in 2 rooms and a hallway. Far less than half of the 1700sq ft of living space. Be aware if you decide to do business with Harlor Management Group in any of their many rental properties that they feel like these are reasonable charges. If you disagree, keep looking for a different place to live!
