Great place to go on a date! 11/11/2011

I wanted to impress my blind date tonight and I decided that I would try out this place, which I've heard alot of good things about. We both had a great time, and it sure helped that we had something to talk about: The great food!! Everything was just amazing! more

An amazing experience from someone who dines out frequently 11/7/2011

I have never eaten here before, but I was astonished to find that the quality of food here is on par with higher class places, back home in Orlando. I tried to Veal Parm and it was excellent. I finished it off with a homemade desert. An excellent experience! more

The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is definitely Italian! We love the lasagna, but all the dishes we have tried are excellent. The dishes are very large. more

Wonderful Italian food! I got tortolleni with a vodka tomato sauce. The plate was so big that I had enough for dinner the next night. It was even better left over! more

Villa Rosa has good Italian food. The service was great and it wasn't too busy the times we have been there. They make a dish that has become one of my husband's favorites. more

Tastes like authentic Italian food. Great Atmosphere. Reasonable Prices. Wait staff has always been very good. Only complaint is access to restaurant can be difficult. more

Excellent Authentic Italian! 8/7/2008

Been here countless times.. Food is authentic.. The owners are from sicily, and the chef is the owner, almost everything is homemade, the marinara sauce is spectacular! Presentation of food could be a bit better, but the food is excellent. Ive seen many servers there come and go.. definitely get Shawn or Marc, they are awesome!! Try Villa Rosa, you will love it! Pros: ambience, food, service, menu, price Cons: salads, appetizers, management more

  • Villa Rosa Italian Restaurant is the dream of owners Frank and Rosa Rappa, who moved to Greensboro, NC from Sicily in the early 1980"s. Originally owning Sal's Italian Restaurant on High Point Road. Frank wanted a classier place that would reflect his attention to detail. Named after his wife, Rosa, the new restaurant exhibits bright colors, romantic old-world architecture, authentic Italian paintings, and cascading water fountains. At Villa Rosa, you receive large potions, like a typical Italian. Meals are" prepared to order", in generous portions, including 10 OZ. glasses of vines. Appetizers include: Toasted Cheese Ravioli, Shrimp Rosina and Mussels Marinara. Entrees include Seafood Fettuccini Alfredo, Veal Piccata, Chicken Cacciatore, Salmon alla Rustica, Shrimp Scampi and Steak Siciliana. Desserts include Rosa's own Tiramisu, Mamma Rosa and Cannoli. Award winning food, atmosphere, service and exceptional value-all Villa Rosa.
