THE MINUTE I WALKED INN VILLA BARONE MANOR I KNEW THAT VILLA BARONE WAS THE SPOT FOR MY DAUGHTERS SPECIAL DAY. EVERYONE THERE IS VERY FRIENDLY BUT I AM SORRY GUYS ANTHONY IS THE BEST AND HE IS VERY IRREPLACABLE. I WILL RECOMMENDED THIS VENUE TO N E ONE AT NE TIME. You can't say enough about the Villa Barone Manor In the Bronx. The owners, Maitre D's and staff are all professional and willing to make your event the most memorable occasion. No matter if you're a Bride or Groom, the Parents or just a guest at their establishment, you are treated with the utmost professionalism. You'll never walk away disappointed or hungry - the food is outstanding! I will continue to recommend this venue to anyone and look forward to being a guest there again. more

From the minute I called to the minute I first stepped into the Villa Barone Manor, I was treated like a princess and as if I was family. Antonio Lacarbonara was so sweet and friendly. He helped my family and I so much. Anything we needed or any questions he had he was always a phone call or email away. Always with fast responds and always wanting to help us. The Place was beautiful, The food was extremely good, and the Garden was beautiful. Everyone who worked there had a smile, they were polite, and they went out there ways to make sure my husband, my family and i were pleased. After my wedding, I had so many phone calls telling me how wonderful my wedding was, that they had never been to a wedding like that before. I even had certain people asking me for information because they wanted to throw an event there. So if you are looking for a dream wedding and to be treated as a family member not only a customer this is the place to go. Pros: Excellent Food, Beautiful Enviroment, Great Service! I had my wedding at the Villa Barone Manor on July 1, 2006 and I have to say that everyone was impressed about my wedding. Our guest still talk about my wedding to this day and it has almost been two years. The food was awesome, the service was great, I have to say I was very impressed with the staff and all the attention they gave myself, my husband and our family and friends. Not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day. I recommend Villa Barone Manor without any reservation to anyone planning a wedding. more

My ex-fiancee called off our wedding and I am having a hard time getting my refund from the Villa Barone of $7,000. I gave them over 6 months advance notice of the cancellation. I have attempted to contact Mr. Anthony Orza several times and left messages regarding the refund. The contract I was given did not state any percentage that Villa Barone keeps or a non-refund statement. I have even showed up on several occasions to resolve this matter in person. I sent Mr. Orza a certified letter, which was acknowledged and signed. The owner said he would return my money also with no avail. more

I attended a wedding reception on Saturday April 5, 2008. It was my first time attending an event at Villa Barone. As soon as I pulled up my I was turned off. The valet parking crew that works there is totally disrespectful. I showed up late so everyone had parked their cars already. I thought I had gotten lucky and found a spot on the street already. Until this extremely overweight man came outside and told me that I couldn't park there. Fine, no harm done. I pulled my car up in front of the restaurant and this same man came over and started yelling at me! My apologies because I had never been to this place before and I didn't know I had to pull my car all the way inside. I asked this gentleman why he was yelling at me? He began to shout and his language became EXTREMELY vulgar! I had my wife and my 3 year old daughter with me. I didn't want my kid to hear all of this vulgarity. So I asked for my ticket and proceeded to the entrance. As I was walking away I hear the tires on my car screeching. This ""overweight gentleman"" must have told one of the other valet parkers to destroy my car or something. When he came back, I asked the guy for his name and the overweight gentleman told me to go inside and to mine my own business. I went inside and asked 3 different waiters plus the coat check girl if there was a manager around. Obviously they knew that I was about to complain about something. So they all told me that the manager wasn't there. I'm very upset that this had to happen. All because of the fact that I ""thought"" there was an open street spot. This overweight gentleman didn't have to be so vulgar about it. Even at the end of the night when everyone was getting their cars he was being overly loud. I even seen this man put his hand on another mans chest and told the man to step behind a line. This gentleman didn't even speak English so he didn't understand the guy. I had to translate it for him. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone! more
