I am so happy I found you 10/15/2010

Finding Victory was like finding a hidden gem for me. My best day at Victory was in my 2nd month when I realized that I would be able to stick with the program despite my bad knees. This is possible because Victory utilizes an extremely intelligent curriculum. I choose Victory because I was immediately impressed with the skill, professionalism, and friendly attitude of the staff. I would recommned Victory to anyone because Victory offers superior staff, instruction & facilites more

We chose Victory for our boys 10/15/2010

1. My best day at Victory was… I asked my boys that, and any day they get a new belt is a great day. 2. I choose Victory because… We live in Peotone Illinois (there are many martial arts places between here and there)and we drive out to Orland Park becasue of the Sensei's that instruct the class. They keep the class fun and the kids (we are in the youngest group)can stay focused because Sesei Adam, and Sensei Ryno keep the class ecxiting for the kids. 3. I recommend Victory Martial Arts Because… We chose Victory for our boys because we heard great things about Sensei Grisco. All we heard was true and he is fantastic with kids. My boys are 7 and 9 and they have been there a little over a year. They have learned so much and their self esteem has improved and so has their discipline and focus. It is amazing how this program help out. Thank you Sensei Adam for being wonderful with the kids and holding their attention and making the class a fun place to learn. more

Great teamwork, teaching = great workout 3/5/2008

The current class I'm taking is called Combat Conditioning, led by Paul Canada. Mr. Canada is a certified personal trainer and a former college acrobat. This class has taken me to levels of fitness that I haven't had in 20+ years. \r \r It's an incredibly challenging workout, but the small class size, and the way that Mr Canada and the other students work as a team, is so motivating, that it makes me never want to miss a class...and I haven't. It combines cardio training, core strengthening, plyometrics, isometrics, light weights...all of which you can adjust according to your fitness level or physical limitations (I have some shoulder problems, so Mr Canada helps me adapt certain exercises so that I can keep working). \r \r In the other classes that I've observed--grappling, women's kickboxing, complete defense system, and kids classes--I've seen the same spirit and attitude towards instruction and teamwork. \r \r I look forward to joining those classes when my body is ready for that. I'm not interested in fighting competitively, but I know some of the students from the school are actively involved in MMA (mixed martial arts) competition, and the school has its own MMA team. \r \r I would love to see the school grow, and perhaps purchase additional space for training, gym equipment, lockers, but I'm supposing that all depends on how many paying students they have. I'm really impressed by the school, and I told them I'd like to help them to get the word out, so I'm sharing my experiences, helping with marketing, etc. as a barter for class fees. For me, that's part of the beauty of the school: people helping eachother spontaneously, working together for something they care about --and having fun. It works for me. Pros: instructors, class sizes, community feeling, no frills, variety of students Cons: no lockers or separate gym area more
