The tennis courts in Vestavia Hills are in poor condition and when the situation was brought to the attention of the mayor he said "tennis courts are not one of his priorities." The tennis facilities in Vestavia Hills are the poorest in Jefferson County. more

Vestavia Library 8/13/2005

One of the biggest problems that Vestavia Library has is that it's too small. Unlike Homewood or Hoover whose library moved to bigger spaces to accomodate more books and other items (DVDs, CDs, videos), the Vestavia Library is stuck in the Scrushy Building. If it is able to get a larger space, maybe this library will be worth going to. As of now, it's cramped and stuffy. more
