The doctors at this clinic actually take the time to listen to your problems. What a novelty in todays healthcare. After a rather extensive examination, I felt like I had been heard. The doctor went over all my exam results with me as well as going over my x-rays, so that I could actually understand them. All in all, I am extremely impressed with this clinic. I feel better and actually look forward to seeing them and their staff. more

I am writing today to let everyone know what great doctors practice at Verve Wellness center. I have suffered with chronic migraines for several years and my doctor in Utah told me that I would be on medication for the ret of my life. As a result of the medication I had stomach problems, irritability as well as chronic fatigue. hen I moved to Phoenix, I googled East Valley doctor and Verve came up. I made an appointment to talk with Dr. Warkentin to discuss my headaches. He had an assistant take some x-rays and performed a pretty comprehensive exam. He went over my films on a large monitor and took time to explain everything. My neck was very rotated and my jaw was badly misaligned. Foryunately for me, this clinic has md's, dentists, chiropractors and therapists. He had me see his dentist to check my bite. The dentist adjusted my teeth while I was there and Dr. Warkentin adjusted me. He set me up on a plan and within a few treatments, my headaches were gone WITHOUT medication for the first time in several years. In the past few months I have taken myself off all of the medication with the help of Dr. Woodriffe, one of the ms's at this clinic and I no longer suffer from stomach problems, my energy is better, irritability is gone and most importantly, I have not had a single headache for 2 months. Verve Wellness Center is by far the best medical facility I have ever seen. It is always bright and clean, the front office staff are always friendly and the doctors are top notch. Dr. Warkentin has created something special in Verve. There is always fresh fruit and cookies available as well as a starbuck's coffee station and ""verve"" water. Both Dr. Warkentin and Dr. Williamson are kind and caring and really know their stuff. And not only is chiropractic care available, but there are also several family practitioners, a radiology department, a PT department as well as dental. Wow! I am so glad I found Verve. I have been a gymnast for the past 15 years. This has given me multiple back, neck and joint problems. I have struggled to find a chiropractor that could help me with more than just back problems, but my shoulders, elbows, knees and wrists. Dr. Warkentin understood right away how i felt and what kind of treatment i needed. He focused on all of my problems I already knew I had, and also discovered that I had a slight case of scoliosis. This is something that none of the doctors I had been to in prior years had noticed. Dr. Warkentin is not only a great doctor but a great person with a great personality. He cares about his patients and how they feel. He goes the extra mile by providing complimentary cookies, fresh fruit, and starbucks coffee and hot chocolate for his patients. All of this makes Verve Wellness stand out from the multiple chiropractic practices I have been to in my life. But the one thing that always puts a smile on my face when I come into this office is Dr. Warkentin's adorable little dog gracie that is always at the office with him and always there to greet you with a fun loving smile. :) Cons: honestly.... I was scheduled to have spinal surgery, however, Dr. David Warkentin used x-rays, adjustments, and axial decompression on me. After these treatments, my low back problems were resolved and I no longer needed any surgery. I thank God for the outstanding, knowledgeable, and very professional treatment I received, and now feel 100 % better and without the risks of surgery. I found that all the staff of Verve Wellness Center, were not only courteous and friendly, but went out of their way to ensure that my needs were promptly and professionally looked after. I came accross Dr. Warkentin at the urging of my son. I have suffered with Parkinson's disease for 6 years. As a result I have become very stiff and my neck really had no range of motion. Dr. Warkentin claimed he could help me with my pain as well as help me regain some mobility. I reluctantly agreed to his care plan. It has now been 9 monhs and I am back to public speaking and travelling, my pains are 75% better, but the most amazing thing is that I can turn my head 70/90 degrees. My family doctor was so impressed that he has contacted Dr. Warkentin and now refers many of his patients to his clinic. I am so grateful for having my health and life back. I have suffered with migraine headaches for several years. I like to stay athletic and am always doing outdoor activities. Therefore, headaches were not welcome in my life, however, I just learned to live with them. i went to see Dr. Warkentin after looking for a chiropractor on a search engine. This was the only office that hadmore than 2 comments. In fact over a hundred and all of them raving of how great this office was. I checked it out and sure enough, the comments were right. I have been to many healthcare facilities over the past 10 years. i am a professional athlete and have had to use the services of chiropractors many times in my career. I have however, never seen such a well equipped clinic like Verve. Everything from cold laser therapy to decompression tables for disc injuries. The doctors here make you feel at ease and that you are in good hands. They know what they are doing here and it shows by the results that you get. Dr. Warkentin always has time to field questions and always has an answer. He believes in the team approach to treating his patients. I know because I have experienced it first hand. I would highly recommend this facility to other athletes or anyone for that matter looking for a chiropractor. more

I have been in the medical field now for 18 years, and I have NEVER seen a facility like this one. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by smiles in a beautiful and spacious reception. There is fresh coffee and imported teas available while you wait as well as fresh fruit and a daily fresh assortment of cookies. You really feel good the minute you get there. The wait is never more than ten minutes and you are ushered back by one of the personel to a therapy area. Dr. Warkentin is attentive and well educated ""amongst the best in my opinion"". He recently added dental to his facility and in his own style has not dissapointed there either. My wife and daughter have made cleaning appointments each and my wife had to have a root canal with a crown. The dental is as professional as the rest of the clinic. This truly is an all service clinic. They definately have the market cornered and with no arrogance like so many other facilities that I have been in over the last 2 decades. I was referred to Verve Wellness Center in particular to Dr. Warkentin by my sargeant for several months due to severe low back pain. I was always sceptical of his profession and refused to listen to my sargeant for several months. After a particularily difficult weekend with my back as I am a motorcycle police officer, I very reluctantly went in that monday for a visit. firstly, when I entered the clinic, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. In a professional medical complex and the4 or 5 girls at the front desk all looked and acted very professional. After filling out my information I was brought back personally by Dr. Warkentin. He immediately put me at ease by talking about the police dept and some of the ride alongs he had gone on. Believe it or not, his bedside manner made a huge difference. He performed about a 20 minute exam and then passed me off to his radiolgy tech for a set of x-rays. I was then brought back to a treatment room and put on a therapy by one of the assistants. When that was over, Dr. Warkentin brought me back to his personal office to go over my x-rays. They were on a monitor and I was given a disc for my own records. I was told by him that I more than likely had a disc herniation and that it was not visible on film but he could refer me for an MRI immediately. About 45 minutes later I was having my MRI taken. I then went back to Dr. Warkentin's clinic and he already had he results as he said on certain occasions, he would ask for a stat report. He was correct in his suspicion. I was brought back to a special decompression table and was pretty sore after. I was told that after a couple of treatments I should feel better. It has been 3 weeks and I am 90% better after months of being stubborn and i hate to admit it, but ignorant about a profession that I really knew nothing about. I am so very grateful that I took a leap of faith and ended up here. I have since referred several other police officers to this amazing place. Verve Wellness Center is easily the best medical facility in Arizona, bar none. From the moment I first walked into the clinic, I have felt like a part of the Verve family. Every time I walk in, I'm instantly greeted by a warm and very friendly staff at the front desk, as well as by Verve's mascot, Gracie Mae! The staff genuinely care about the patients, and it's evident from the attention they show to every individual patient. Dr. Warkentin and his partner, Dr. Williamson, are easily the most knowledgable chiropractors I have ever met, and they go above and beyond every visit. I would recommend Verve Wellness Center for any problem; they get the job done the right way. more

My only regret is that I didn't find Verve Wellness Center years ago. I have suffered from migranes for years and was at my wits end. Tired of taking medications that worked sometimes and didn't at other times, I went to see Dr. Warkentin on the recommendation of a neighbor that works for Mesa Fire and has known the doctor for years. I was able to get in the very next day after I called. The clinic is the most beautiful medical facility I have ever seen. You are greated by a relaxing water wall and there is always cookies, starbucks coffe and tea forte available. The girls at the front are very nice and accomodating. Dr. Warkentin and Dr. Williamson are always very thorough and never make me feel like I am being rushed. They always take the time to answer any questions I may have. Gracie the weimariner is the cutest thing! I am feeling better than I ever thought I would. I love this place! For several years I have suffered with chronic migraine headaches. I have taken Imitrex, zomig, maxalt amongst other over the counter medications. For years I have been told that the only way to deal with it was through medications. My husband who is a firefighter had told me about Dr. Warkentin and verve Wellness Center. Dr. Warkentin spend 6 months in Paris france treating only headache patients, so I thought that I would give it a shot. His tech took several x-rays after an extensive examination. He also took my vitals and my BP was 144/98. For a 29 year old female quite high. He told me to see my PCP and I decided to see one of the medical doctors on his staff for it. After going over my x-rays so that I could actually understand it, Dr. Warkentin prescribed and aggresive care plan coupled with massage therapy. It has been nearly 4 months now and for the first time in 3 years I have not had a single headache in nearly 3 months. I am so grateful forthe time this doctor took with me> I havesince referred my sister who suffers with headaches as welland she too is feeling like life is worth living again. I have seen various chiropractors over the last 20 years. Reluctantly, I went to dr. Warkentin's clinic after a bad experience with my previous doctor. I have had many cortizone shots and facet blocks these past 2 years. They worked temporarily. Dr. Warkentin sent me out for a new MRI and got me in in less than an hour. 2 hours later he had a full report from the MRI center. He explained that I had 3 herniated lumbar discs. 2 mild and one moderate. This is why I was in pain and that the shots were really a temporary fix. He explained that he works with an anesthesiologist for patients that need pain management during the repair of a painful disc problem but further went on to tell me that ""if"" the shot works, it is simply dulling the pain and not correcting the problem. He prescribed a certain amount of treatments on a decompression table designed especially for the type of problem that I had. Long story short, it has been 4 weeks now with no additional shots and an aggressive care plan. I am for the most part 100% pain free for the first time in 10 years. I have learned what to lift and what not to lift as well as how. Dr. Warkentin really is a champion in his field. His knowledge and the way he communicates it to his patients is astonishing. I would like to thank him and his lovely staff for caring about me the way one would care for his child. If you are reading this review and are looking for a chiropractor look no further, I gurantee that you are entering the right place. Not to mention he also has dental, medical and rehab all at one facility with a bunch of associate doctors that also work there. What can I say about Verve Wellness? Nothing but wonderful things. Being in the medical profession for over 20 years, I can honestly say that Dr. Dave has got it right. His clinic is large, yet still has that ""homey"" feel. The girls at the front are the nicest medical staff I have ever come across. They always greet you with a smile. There is fresh fruit, cookies, starbucks coffee and tea forte available as well as custom ""Verve H2O"". They always fit me into their schedule even if I don't have an appointment. And, they have Saturday hours available. Dr. Dave and his associates always take the time to answer any questions I may have. I hear dental is now up and running as well. I have recommended Verve to many family, friends and collegues and they have not been dissapointed either. If you are looking for a top-notch medical facility with all of the latest equipment and doctors and staff that put the patient first, then look no further than Verve Wellness Center. I am a professional body builder who has been seeing Dr. Warkentin for several years. i am not necessarily consistant with my care, however, before a national competition I get serious about getting adjusted and am always amazed with how much heavier I am able to lifr and how much better my definition gets as a result. Dr. Warkentins new clinic has all of the equipment needed for professional athletes. He always takes time to go over what I shouldbe doing in the gym to maximize my goals, and they always seem to work. This doctor knows his stuff and ALWAYS takes the time that his patients require. more

I am a local orthopedic surgeon who has had the pleasure of getting to know Dr. Warkentin and his staff over the years. I have seen him grow from a beautiful chiropractic clinic to a large multi doctor clinic with chiropractors, medical doctors, dentists and therapists. Being in the field that I am in, I have never really gotten to know much about his profession, however, we now refer certain patients back and forth when itis indicated. All of his patients speak very highly of Verve and the results they get there. Dr. Warkentin has spent time in surgery with me and other surgeons that I know so that he can be with his patients during their surgeries and to continually gain knowledge of what he is referring out for. Walking into Verve Wellness Center is like walking into a 5 star hotel. You are greeted by several staff at the front desk by name. Even when you are a new patient. The front end really has their game together. This clinic has everything from inported teas, coffees ""freshly ground"" fruits, cookies and water while you wait. The magazines are always a month ahead of time. Then there are the doctors. Dr. Warkentin and his associates are all very professional. Top of their game as well. The equipment in the clinic would embarass any other clinic that I have visited. His radiology tech from the hospital is thourough and friendly. In fact, if you request a copy of your x-rays, you are given one burned to CD at no additional cost. The dental area is beautiful as well. The dentist from what I am told is thorough and has a background in healthcare before becoming a dentist and is a perfectionist with the patients. Physical therapy looks like a proper therapy area and not a cramped room. Lastly the medical doctors who work here are also very thorough and make sure they get to the bottom of the problem. They actually listen to you. What a breath of fresh air. All in all, this office is truly a well rounded world class clinic that anyone would be happy to be a part of. If you are looking for a group of doctors who give you their undivided attention and truly care about their patients problems and health, than I would recommend this clinic. From the moment you walk into the door at Verve Wellness Center, you are treated with kindness and respect. The staff are all very friendly and always have a smile no matter how busy they are. All of the doctors are very knowledgable and take their time with you. The atmosphere is unreal. There is fresh fruit and cookies available as well as a starbucks coffee machine and tea forte. I can honestly say that there isn't another medical clinic around as nice and friendly as Verve Wellness. I love it there!! more
