We have been going to VHAH for 16 years now. The office staff is so kind, caring and efficient. All the doctors have been great. We especially love Dr. Sneed. She clearly cares about the health of all animals and gives excellent care. She is smart, empathetic, caring, professional and very thorough. She takes the time to go over every aspect of your pet's care and she if very patient and caring when she answers our questions. We are very pleased with VHAH! more

I saw Dr. McCullough and several of the other doctors since I started coming to this facility several months ago and I am impressed with the professionalism, knowledge but most importantly the compassion and clearly the love of animals. I look forward to a long relationship with this facility as my two dogs begin their senior years. more

I love this place. The receptionists and assistants are always friendly and helpful and the offices are always clean and bright. Dr. Chung has been seeing my Havanese,Clem, since he was 10 weeks old (4 years) and always shows genuine interest and concern for him. She explains her diagnosis and rational for treatment in a quick easy to understand way, which I appreciate. Dr. Chung also asks about my other dogs and today even my daughter's dog. I highly recommend VHAH for the wonderful care and fair prices. more

Amazing Veterinary Practice 7/6/2016

This Vet is amazing. All of the staff are very kind and friendly. They are obviously all very compassionate towards animals and care very much. They have been extremely helpful and the services and check-ups are reasonably priced. I am so glad that we found them to take care of our little kitty. more

We've been taking our pets to Vernon Hills Animal Hospital since 2002. They have Saturday hours and the office is organized and efficient. They've seen us through the puppy years and into doggy old age! more

Spectacular Reptile Vets! 1/23/2016

We are so thankful we found Dr. Barten for our snake care. We have complete faith in him for any issues that come up. He spends the time to answer all of our questions and we don't feel rushed at all. Driving distance is about an hour, but it is so worth it for the care and expertise. We had to go in for a follow up and Dr. Barten was out of town so we saw Dr. Cheung. We were very impressed with her as well and she was quite at home handling our Boa. I would not hesitate to go to either of them for care. I can't say enough good things about them. The office staff is quite friendly as well. So happy we found them! more

I have been coming to vhah for more than 15 years. I have 2 dogs and 2cats that have been loving care for though their long lives! I recently had my first experience with Dr. Cheung. I was very impressed with her care and concern for my pets. She also took the time to make sure we were cared for as much as our pets. We will continue to use VHAH for all our pets needs. more

Vernon Hills Animal Hospital is fantastic! I called for an appointment this morning for my 1 year old bunny & was seen by Dr. Cheung @ 9:30. I was very concerned about him and they were able to get me in within an hour and a half of calling. The front office staff was very friendly. Dr. Cheung is very knowledgeable about bunnies and she was able to immediately identify the problem. I'm glad to know there is such a competent and compassionate small animal vet near my home. more

Awesome Doctors! 7/13/2015

I have been taking my 2 dogs to this practice for more than 3 years . I have worked with all Doctors and never once have had a bad experience. I love how each one shows their passion towards what they do . Recently I have moved further away but I still do the drive just because I love how they take care of my girls!! :) more

Outstanding Hospital 7/3/2015

My wife & I have brought our cats to VHAH since 1998. We have seen all the Doctors there although we have recently seen primarily Dr Sneed. All of them as well as their staff have been great in taking care of our pets. They all love and care about the work they do. more

Our family has been using Vernon Hills Animal Hospital for almost 30 years. Recently it was time for our Chihuahua, Buddy to come in for his annual vaccinations. The vets are knowledgeable, caring and informative. Your pet is in good hands whether for a check up or something more serious. We also have had our Labradors, French Bulldog and my daughters Basset Hound in for care. You cant go wrong using this location for you dog or cat. more

VHAH really cares about my pets. They remember us from the time before and work with us like these dogs are their own pets. And Dr. Cheung is empathetic to the financial limitations of pet owners. She only prescribes what is necessary to the well-being of my dogs. I wish I could find a people doctor that I liked as well as I like VHAH. more

The doctors and staff at VHAH have been taking care of my pets for almost 25 years. They doctors provide excellent and compassionate care, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I especially like their drop-off service; I can drop my dog(s) off on my way to work and pick them up on the way home. Highly recommend. more
