Vernola's Towing Services

On 12/8/2013 my daughter unfortunately got in a car accident and Vernola's Towing came and got the car, they put our car in there impound lot when my husband asked them to tow it to a triple AAA approved body shop. The nightmare began we drove up from San Diego on 12/9/2013 around 2PM to get our car and Vernola's wanted to charge us 245.00 for 1 night CRAZY!!!!! on there price list for 1 night it was 47.50. It took them 3hrs for us to get our car.\r My husband spoke to the owner and he said we would only have to pay the 47.50.\r The staff at Vernola's Towing are incompetent people and RUDE. I dont understand how these people can sleep at night knowing that they are ripping SO many people off. If you get in a accident in this area of LA DO NOT USE VERNOLA""S TOWING tell triple AAA you will spend the money to stay out of the town of Norwalk. I hope and pray that no one will have to deal with these people.\r \r more

PESIMO SERVICIO!!!... Los trabajadores y la manager son absolutamente irrespetuosos!!... Hacen cualquier escuda para detener tu carro mas tiempo y hacerte pagar mas por tenerlo en el corralón. La manager hasta sale de la oficina a discutir y pelear con la gente que va por su auto. Watched one of their drivers hook up to a vehicle in front of my business on 3/21/12 then followed for a bit. No Safety Chains (required by law), Not tow lights (required by law), No Steering Wheel tie (required by AAA, CTTA, and just safe practice). Unsafe lane changes. This day and age these violations and unfathomable. any company who has any sort of safety program would not allow for such unsafe use of high a risk vehicle on our city street unnecessarily exposing the general public to an unsafe environment. Starter on my car gave out. Called Vernola's Towing to get my car towed back to my house from work. They quoted me a great price; about $50 cheaper than the other local tow companies in the area I contacted. I was a little skeptical because of some of the bad reviews but I went for it! The tow truck greeted me within 15minutes. A friendly man, whom I wished I remembered his name hooked up my car and we where on our way. This was a pleasant experience for my first tow, everything went great. The driver was super friendly and acted very professional! After my great and flawless experience I would definitely use this Vernola's Towing again in the future if need be! more

Called through AAA to get my mom's car towed - she had a flat tire on the 5 North Bound freeway. They came to my mom and decided to leave her there because she was not a AAA memeber. The dispatcher, Lisa, called me back. She was rude and yelling at me. I went out to meet my mom and found her stranded on the freeway!!! I wrote a letter to the Better Business Burea and to AAA. I did not recieve one word from Vernola's. AAA continues to use them. Pros: Nothing Cons: Bad customer services and no matter what does not care more

Under any circumstances DO NOT use Vernola's Towing Service, unless you don't mind having your personal items stolen and then covered up by employees who are rude and have no people skills. Mind you they have a 24 hour surveillance camera and yet they refuse to look at a specific date.
