They charge double what other vets charge for the same yearly shots. Even blood tests , and extra shots... their prices are higher. They say yes... but the quality of care you ar...

Dr. Garrick solved our problem 5/21/2009

I'd switched over to VCA Boca del Mar after numerous bad experiences with another vet office. My senior dog had been licking and chewing at one of his legs for months and we couldn't figure out why. Dr. Garrick examined him and said that my dog was arthritic in that leg. I will admit that it is expensive to go there, but I don't usually wait long at all to be seen. And honestly, there are offices that are even more expensive in the area. We've had great experiences overall. more

Over priced 3/9/2009

They say yes... but the quality of care you are getting is great here. I took my dog to a new vet and they are just as nice if not nicer and the price is so much better. I switched vets and we are much happier now. more

From my experience... 5/14/2008

They're certainly knowledgeable and helpful. I've only had my dog for three months, and the only visit we paid to the VCA hospital was enjoyable throughout. They were helpful and understanding ( and didn't mind him knocking a stack of papers ontop of the receptionist... ). They did, however, have a kitten walking around, which caused my dog to go into a rampage. But besides that, it was a great experience all around. more

vca animal hospital 10/15/2007

I would make an appointment and 45 mins later i would be still waiting for the vet to even come in the room. The vet was rude and in a hurry to get to the next patient. The fees are ok, and the clinic is clean. more
