Misdiagnosed broken leg by vet at VCA 10/10/2009

I took my cat in to be checked as it appeared her leg was broken. They did not do any radiographs on her leg and determined she was bitten by another cat. They sent her home with antibiotics. Three weeks later the wound had gotten worse. I was then seen by regular vet and it was determined that she was not bit at all. She suffered from a broken leg. I spoke with VCA in regards to my situation. The Dr. that examined her stated "I hate when I miss something!" I requested that I be refunded the cost of the visit which was $400.00. They refused to refund my visit. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. My cat suffered one month before the real diagnosis was determined. By this time the vet bill to perform surgery on her leg has jumped in $2000.00. I would be cautious when choosing this clinic.The staff there has absolutely no compassion or caring for the beloved pets they treat. more

great emergency clinic 1/1/2009

easy location- great staff, and compassionate during emergencies. prices are high- but most clinics are. will definately utilize their services if necessary. highly recommend. more

Cat Injured while in VCA Central Kitsap's Care 6/24/2008

Very insensitive to the situation and to me. The manager became very defensive and treated me rudely and insensitively for inquiring into what happened, even trying to turn blame on me in a desperate attempt to cover himself. I'll never go back. Cons: Injured my cat while in their care; showed lack of compassion for animals and their owners. more

kitsap animal hospital 9/27/2005

Kitsap animal hospital is an Alright place to go. The service is good, the people are very nice to you and to your pet. although I felt that it was not clean enough. In the room my dog and I were in it had dog furr in the corners and dirty floors. It did not seem clean enough as it should be. Other than that the docs. are great and so are the technicans more

Animal Hospital 9/7/2005

Good place to go to if you are in need of vet care for your loved animal. If you are looking for someone to Crop your new puppys ear this is not the place to go. No where on this side of the water does ear cropping! You need to look by seattle area. This place has good customer service, they care about your pets as much as you do. more
