the best hospital in new york 7/24/2008

The hospital is very clean.The nurses are nice and caring.i couldn't ask for better.They treat you like family checking on you whenever the have the chance.The try to keep the patients satisfied and the respond fast.The children hospital of montefiore is excellent and is loved by my family being that every child in my family goes there and recieves excellent service. THE NURSING LEAVES ALOT TO BE DESIRED. THEY REALLY DO NOT HAVE COMPASSION FOR POST OPERATIVE PATIENTS THE WAY THEY SHOULD HAVE,ANYTHING ABOVE OR BEYOND THEIR IMMEDIATE DUTIES APPEARS TO BE A REAL CHORE FOR THEM. MEDICATION IS NOT BEING GIVEN @ REGULAR INTERVALS, & PAPER WORK FOR MEDICATION APPEARS TO BE MISSING IMPORTANT INFORMATION. DOCTERS ON CALL DO NOT RESPOND IN A TIMELY MANNER WHEN NEEDED.THIS HOSPITAL STAFF & DIRECTORS SHOULD BE EMBARASSED OF THEMSELVES ON HOW THEY OPERATE THIS FACILITY. IF I OPERATED MY BUSINESS THE WAY THIS HOSPITAL IS OPERATED I WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS. Pros: OPERATING STAFF IS EXCELLENT Cons: NURSING STAFF LEAVES ALOT TO BE DESIRED more
