Amazing Service and food 7/31/2008

my wife and I took a drive last weekend, and ended up on Castro. We went to this restaurant for the first time and had an amazing meal. Would highly recommend it. My wife had the ravioli and I had the shrimp scampi. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to have and excuse to go back again! more

amazing customer service 3/31/2007

I have never felt so welcomed into a resturant. The owners, servers, and chef treat you as if you are family. They remember your name as well as your face. As busy as they may be, they always take time to make sure that your experience is nothing but the best. more

I had my first date at Vasso Azzurro. Great wine, awesome food, and excellent service. I would highly recommed to my coworks, and family. more

Excellent date spot 6/7/2006

Impress your date without breaking the bank. This place delivers the whole romantic fine dining experience for under $18 an entree. The food is better than a lot of places charging $30 a pop and its definately better than the considerably more crowded Italian restaurant down the street. I'm especially fond of the steak- it comes on a delectable potato and spinach bed thingie. Also, its very elegant without being pretentious or stuffy, and the service is excellent without being excessively chatty or false friendly (a restaurant pet peeve of mine).
