I arrived at my friends' home in Kansas City on Thursday morning and smack dab into their backyard remodel. With a party planned for Saturday afternoon, time was running out to finish the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and bar area, rock waterfall, new back door, flagstone tile, stucco walls, wiring for lights and speakers, fire pit, and on and on. I Called Van Pelt Contracting after a storm which caused a leak in our roof. Water was pouring into the hallway & we needed someone right away. Adam called me back in 10 minutes & had his crew at our building within 45 minutes! They found our drains on the roof were blocked & cleared them.There were also some damage to the roof which they fixed.The job was done in 2 hrs.The price was reasonable,the service was terrific.. I'm really glad i found them & recommend them. more

The Van Pelt Contracting crew is fabulous! We are moving into a new condo and needed hard wood floors put into the two bedrooms on a very tight schedule. We wanted quality at a reasonable price and had the complication of only having a few days to get the materials ordered and work done (we knew we'd never get to the floors if we moved in before having them done). Adam Van Pelt was very responsive from the start and made it all happen on our schedule and on our budget. He was also very helpful in making some design decisions about what type of floor to go with and the direction the grain should be in relation to both the other floors and the way the light entered the two rooms. We ended up with a light bamboo. Adam and crew got it done in one day and were a breeze to work with. We would highly recommend to anyone in need of a home repair on a budget! more
