The way it's advertised, If an item is tagged with the color sticker that is 50% off this week, the following Monday that item will be 99 cents. I was watching a pair of boots in the case that were extremely overpriced, so overpriced that it was better taking a chance and waiting until Monday when they would be .99. I asked the store manager if they fell in the .99 category and she aknowledged they did, as long as no one bought them by Sunday closing. I also asked if employees were allowed to take them and I was told they were not. Sunday night I was the last person in the store at closing and they were still in the case. After waiting in the cold for 1.5 hours (which is what I was told to do by store employees because the line starts early) I was the first in the door and went straight to the case. The boots were gone. I asked them where they could have gone and no one could answer. The only logical explaination is an employee took them. So, if you have your eye on something in the store, watch out. The Value Village employees will get them before you do. I was a good customer to that store and spent a lot of money there. I will not be returning. They obviously don't value their customers.
Cons: Value Village Employees get the good stuff before you do
