My daughter and I took her 3 mo old kitten for his first shots and a general check up. Upon arriving the receptionist seemed scattered at best and while speaking with customers on the phone was rolling her eyes. She also seemed very petty with other employees in her tone. After waiting over an hour to be seen, we allowed the kitten to get out of her carrier and play on the examination table. When ""Dr."" Robinett came in (and I use the term ""Dr"" very loosely.... she approached our kitten who is at a very playful stage and as our kitten jumped slightly to play with the vet, ""Dr."" Robinett then HIT him in the face and continued to reach out towards him and slap his paws and face to ""let him know whose boss"". She told us we cannot allow him to be such a monster and called him other names as well. She was at the very least inappropriate in her approach and should have never assumed it was okay with us to touch our kitten in such an aggressive manner. This was my daughters first time to a veterinarian's office and was horrified. This lady could and should have found a better way to help us with training techniques, but should NEVER have hit our kitten. We'll never go there again!
