Bad customer service, employees won't even look you in the eye when you have a problem with a item purchased there or even a fish,, they just mope around and find an excuse why not to refund you , or even credit you , I used to think this place was cool, not now, it's pretty bad, They play the PH game if you have a problem with a dead fish bought within a few days fish bought from there, the want name rank and serial number to even issue a store credit. They will then ask for a water sample, (another trip) and find things wrong with your water even thou you know your fish are fine. And try to sell you chemicals you really don;t even need. if you refuse to buy,Then finally tell you there is nothing they can do , NO STORE CREDIT< NO REFUND> because there is something wrong with your water and out the door you'll go wishing you went to Petco or elsewhere, I would not advise buying fish or anything live from here with the customer service I received. Don't say you weren't warned. HORRIBLE STORE & CUSTOMER SERVICE. more

i think this store is cool, love animals so even cooler the guys that work their are great great service and their funny.. its pretty clean. plus the crickets are cheap.:) you do ROck ,... they take time even thou you struck out three times one your pin ..and we drive from elk township .so its pretty far ..there great service guys:) more

In our immediate area we have Petco, Pets Plus and Petsmart.......and we drive all the way to Pennsauken for our various needs for our Bunnies, fish, turtles and guinea pigs and dog and cat supplies (and to purchase animals).......Great staff, they take the time to even try to get you what you need, if they don't have it. Prices are the best around!!!! My daughter wanted a specific type of guinea pig, breed, sex and age and they had it for us in 2 days, and they came in $10.00 less than all the large chain competators!!! (= 1/3 less!) I have purchased 5 ferrets from Pete in the past 12 years and they were all healthy. Best pets I ever owned. The one I got today is already tame and does not nip when you hold her! The staff is always knowledgeable and the prices are great! They have a good variety of pet supplies and can also order non stock items on request. I have known Pete for many years and I find him to be honest and very knowledgeable about the products and animals he sells. I highly recommend Value Pet for all your pet and pet supplies. TIP: Ask lots of questions before buying so you know what you are getting. Pros: Very Knowledgeable sales staff and good prices Cons: Decore could use a makeover. more

i dont know what that guys talking about. i have been shopping there for years and the staff is extreeeeamly good with the animals and the owner who is almost ALWAYS there is extreamly helpful and knows his stuff. ive bought sevral animals there(2 bearded dragons, a few frogs, a red tail boa, a ferret for the kids, and some fish) all that were healthy and well kept. i still have every thing i ever bought there and never had any health issues. plus there the cheapest place around!!! (i breed the dragons i bought from them...and there all beautiful, and healthy) i completely recomend this place. :) Pros: experianced owner almost always on site Cons: none i can think of more

I think with out one of the workers that are there his name is harry very knowledgeable about saltwater aquariums and the funny man that wrote the last review the animals are kept for just fine he is a funny man im a saltwater fish tank guy so i recomend people to go see harry for any guestion more
