When my transmission failed on my 35 ft. motor home my brother referred me to Valley Transmission. He has always been treated right in both service and price.\r Before having the motor home towed in I talked with the owner Mike who gave me an estimate range. After looking at the repairs needed their staff called me with an exact price which was within the estimate range.\r \r The repair, a total rebuild of the transmission, was completed promptly. They asked me to put some miles on the rig and return it in 15 days after the repair. At that time they again test drove the motor home, checked for leaks, and signed off on the one year, 12,000 mile guarantee. \r \r I am a very satisfied customer. \r more

My transmission failed in my 2001 Ford F250. The folks at Valley Transmission were able to perform fast and thorough diagnostics to get my vehicle repaired. They received the truck late Monday afternoon. Troubleshot Tuesday morning. Parts ordered, rebuilt, reinstalled, and test drove...job completed by Wednesday afternoon. That's a job well-done! The owner and his family have been an integral business of Spokane since '68; they have over 40 years of experience and community loyalty. I believe the negative reviews posted on this site are unfounded. I've done my homework and the BBB rates this business with an A+...so do I. If a business owner had a melt-down and berated me, I would report them, in a hurry, to the BBB. No such reports exist for this business. I had a classic car that was having transmission problems. It kept leaking fluid. I took my buick to Valley Transmission, to get repaired. I was reffered by a freind.\r Short story i went to pick up the car, paid a few hundered bucks, and went to drive the car and looked under it, and sure enough it was still leaking fluid. I went to the owner to hope to show him the problem, something he may have missed, i think his name was mike..he had red hair. As i began to explain to him the leak..he exploded on me..he got beat face red and yelled at me....I was shocked at his unproffesional behavior. Another reason i took the car there was because they advertise as being a Christian business, which is important to me to support...It really blew me away how he acted opposite his advertised belief system. Needless to say i left with a leaky tranny and less a few hundred bucks. I would NEVER take my business there again., There are to many other quality places to go then risk being screwed and then railed on by a hot headed owner who acts like a child.. more
