I would recommend Valley Marine to everyone who needs to get boat repairs done. They got what I needed to be done quickly and effectively. Gene told me what I needed and there were no call backs for additional services that needed to be done. He did what he said he would do, and they have a test tank at the shop to make sure it is lake ready. more

Great help, up front and honest guy! Helped me with a ton of questions on replacing rotted floor in the old boat. Got me all the right supplies and pointed in the right direction. Would definitely work with Valley Marine again!! more

BAD! BAD BAD! I made and order two weeks ago. Got an order number, but no email confirmation. After two weeks, I called them twice during business hours and both times, got a message machine, left massages and got no responses.\r I emailed them - got no responses. Just leaving me hanging. I recommend you do not do business with them. They obviously, don't care about good business practices. , more

Beware!!!! heard this guy likes to take boats.I had my boat in last year for a bellows boot ,a trim colenoid and u joints was quoted around $900 when i got the call that it was done total was around $1700 I did not get a call saying the price was going up the charged me $150 just to start my boat and no new u jonts just repacked the old ones if anything the price should have went down for not needing the u joints. The owner was nice when I dropped it off and a ass when I picked it up and the parts here around 30% to 40% more than other shops. more

Was recommended by a friend to come here, glad I did. Needed a new carburetor assembly for my 86' Evinrude, called first, and he had it ready for me when I got there. Was a little too pricey but no other shop in town had it, so I would say it was worth it. more

Absolute worst place to do business!!! 6/16/2009

Took my boat for seasonal service for $225. They called me a gave a list of things wrong. Powerpack , rectifier,cooling system, leaky trim, and quoted me a price of $4000. I looked up the parts and they come to about $300. So what $3700 for labor. My estimate would be at most 3hours work. thats over a $1000 an hour. He also told me I needed to replace my control cables. Funny thing is I just replaced them 2 days before bringing him the boat. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. TAKE YOUR BOAT SOME PLACE ELSE. Cons: way over priced more

We took our 27' boat to be repaired. After nearly 3 weeks we received a quote for $14,000 on 6/26/07. The following tuesday 7/3/07 my husband called to suggest another possibility. We believed all was understood to cut down the cost. The following Saturday 7/7/07 we receive a nasty phone call saying we owed $300.00 for storing the boat for 30 days. Remember it has only been 1 1/2 weeks since we first heard their quote. They went from being the nicest people to becoming very rude...for nearly nothing. A little professionalism and respect would have been nice. Pros: None more
