Worst	Pizza was all hype and no bite... The big sign outside said, ""The Best Pizza in Philadelphia"". I'm pretty sure citysearch was comparing VF pizza to frozen grocery store pizza. Expect a huge Eagles-type letdown...

VFP has the best food around. not only is the food amazing, so is the service. the prices are very reasonable and i highly recommend this restaurant. its my number one choice. more

We have been going to VFP for years and it has become our ""Friday night date"" for some time now. The menu is incredible...pizza, salads, sandwiches, wonderful entrees and desserts! I love the Greek Salad, Spaghetti Carbonara or topped with crab meat, White Pizza and Chicken Marsella (by far the best ever!). My husband loves their Veal Parm., and Seafood Pasta. We can honestly say we have never had a bad meal and we've been going to VFP for five years. It is more than a pizza restaurant. The service is friendly, the decor is beautiful (hard to believe it's in a tiny strip mall) and they treat you like family.\r \r It truly is a great family restaurant with exceptional food. Shouldn't be missed!\r Pros: Excellent food and warm friendly atmosphere more

I went to Valley Forge Pizzeria (or VFP as I like to call it) the other night for my third time and I was very impressed by the whole experience! I sat outside on a cute patio that reminded me of my trip to Europe. The menu was versatile, my date was able to order a very tasty cheesesteak while I ordered something a little more top-notch (a delicious Veal dinner, one of the specials that night). Everything was great, food, service, atmosphere. I definately recommend this unique BYOB restaurant.\r \r p.s. don't forget to check out the impressive international coffee menu. Perfect place to bring the kids. Equally good for a casual meal with friends. Good byob. Very good pizza, good pasta and entrees. Service was very good on a busy saturday night. Loved the atmosphere. I love the food, atmosphere, and customer service. Whenever i go to Valley Forge Pizza the staff is very friendly and the food is prepared perfectly! Since it is a BYOB I can bring my own wine, sit back, and enjoy. The restaurant has just been remodeled and now has a wine cellar so when i do not finish my wine i can always leave it there for the next enjoyable dining experience. Pros: cleanliness, wait staff, food, atmosphere...everything! more

Great Specials 1/9/2008

Since the remodeling, we have been to valley forge restaurant 2x. Both occasions, we have ordered the ""specials"" for the evening and the food has been great. I think ""Mediteranean shrimp"" was the name of one dish - shrimp w/ spinch, roasted peppers and feta cheese over penne with wht wine garlic sauce. Another special we tried was Shimp & Veal Pecante - veal cutlets & shrimp w/ roasted peppers, mushrooms, & a spicy wine sauce. VERY good. The service is pretty good. Nothing outstanding but nothing horrible either. My husband did get served blue cheese dressing from a small cup that had looked like it was used by another customer BUT it was quickly fixed. The prices are very reasonable. The house salads with the meals were just OK - they could be improved by adding better lettuce (not so much iceburg). The garlic bread is also OK but could use some work - taste is OK but the fact that it is a sandwich roll is a little cheap. Why not get some nice italian bread? more

i love their pizza. ilove their pasta. ilove their employees. it""s the kind of place to go with a date or with the wh.ole family. i'NEVER BEEN dissapointed with the food or the service. always special .d'ont be fooled by the name that may categorize valley forge as pizza place only ..... it is a quality restaurant with exeptional food.the waitresses are warm and friendly the owner is always there making sure thinks run smouthly end the ambience is just rigt.great management Pros: management. food. cleanliness more

The food is great. Since they hired that hot new foreign dude the food's extra bangin' good. I have to agree with the last posting that the young boss is a very good boss. I guess he's cute for like a 12 year old girl, i myself prefer a more virile man. But that's not the argument right now. The fact of the matter is that he makes a great boss. As for the older, fatter, long nosed one, he is terrible. he needs to learn how to communicate better, to both his employees and his customers. He kisses rich people's butts and stares down every other customer until they gulp down their food and move out so he can seat more people.\r \r The waitresses are great, they work hard to make the customers satisfied and they fly like the wind to get the food out. The chefs that I have met are wonderful and friendly. This place gets a four out of five. It would get a five out of five if it weren't for the fat lazy owner.\r \r great food! great service! mediocre at best ownership! Valley Forge Pizza has always been a family favorite. My family & I have been going there for many years. It is very family oriented. The owner is fabulous with his custumers and always has a warm welcome that makes us feel at home. The waitresses are super friendly and very bubbly. The cooks do a great job with all of the dishes. That's why we love the food so much! :) I highly recommend the fallowing dishes: Pasta- the tri color tortilleni with chicken and Sandwhich-chicken ceaser wrap and Pizzas- would be everything! This is the best casual Italian restaurant in the Valley Forge/Phoenixville area. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and the prices are very reasonable. I like their pizza and the sauce, which is to die for. The menu is extensive and well balanced with many salads, and the service it top notch even during very busy times. The waitresses are very friendly and efficient. I like the fact that the owner is always there making sure that everything works perfectly. The place is very clean and you absolutely feel like home when you are there. I think that besides the good food this is the reason this restaurant is so popular. Great Food, amazing ambiance and a fabulous staff is what makes this restaurant so superb. I have been coming here for years and love all of the employees and owner! They always accomodate any needs I have had!! The owner is ALWAYS there making sure things run smoothly and is so generous to each and every customer. The one thing I love about the owner of the restaurant is that he is very involved in the Phoenixville Community and participates in fundraisers and other beneifciary activies - Which I think is fantanstic!! The waitresses are so sweet and very adorable as well! Wherever you live... its a must that you take a trip to this restaurant and enjoy everything it has to offer!! For the last 7 years, my family and I have all dined at Valley Forge Pizza. And all I can say is that when we started going there it was great and now it is AMAZING! It has only gotten better. From the waitresses to the cooks, the owner to the manager, and the coziness of the restaurant it just makes for an amazing dining experience. The owner is there 24/7 making sure everyone is happy. He truly knows how to run a business. Even on the busiest Friday night, the owner will walk over to you and have a conversation and treat you the way customers should be treated. My favorite meal there is the Chicken Parm with spaghetti. The cooks deserve only the best rating possible. Everyone who works there should be applauded for their outstanding service. You absolutely feel like home when you are there. Out of all the restaurants in this area, my top choice would be Valley Forge Pizza. Great job guys! Pros: The staff and the food Cons: ? more

I've been going to Valley Forge Pizza for years and have seen the transformation of a local pizza shop turn into one of the most popular restaurants of the area. The recent renovations to the restaurant are fabulous, especially the outdoor dining patio that was used during the summer! The inside environment is cozy and rustic which is perfect for either an intimate dinner or a family gathering. My favorite thing about this place is the array of different dishes one can choose from: gourmet pizza, calzones, cheese steaks, salads, specialty pasta dishes and the most recent additions to the menu, delicious desserts, gourmet coffees and cappuccino! The waitresses are very friendly and efficient as well as the other employees. I highly recommend this restaurant and have no complaints whatsoever!! This is some of the best pizza I've had outside of Italy! My girlfriend had the spaghetti; it was awsome. I had the pizza; the crust was very crisp. And the sauce was out of this world. The restaurant was crazy buisy, but service was extremely fast and efficiant. You can even bring your own wine, and store it in their wine celler (what an idea!!!!)! The new decor makes a very nice atmosphere. The restauant is soooo clean, you could eat on the floor. I highly recomend this restaurant. I give it an A plus plus.
