Food and Drinks WAY OVERPRICED 6/24/2013

We go to Valley Fair every couple years. I always leave with a bad taste in my mouth about the cost of food and drinks. Slice of pizza for $8. A small bag of mini-doughnuts for $8. A glass of coke or lemonaid for $4. Oh and parking for $12. You just feel like the owners are trying every angle to pry more money out of you. I saw one person complaining about this, so I went up to them and said pretty soon they will be charging people to go pee!! Valley Fair used to have 4 shows going on all during the day. Now they just have two. Even with the so, so new dinosaur area, the place seems pretty tired and overpriced. more

full of fun and thrill 1/14/2006

This is a very good place for family picnic. They have lots of rides like the thrill rides, rides for children,rides for families and even water rides. My favorite is the power tower ride which is a gravity defying ride, One tower blasts riders straight up nearly 27 stories in the air and then drops them back to earth. The other tower slowly lifts riders to nearly 275 feet, then plunges them downward faster than a free-fall. Among the family rides they have a ferris wheel, go kart and bumper boats. Its truly an amusement park providing lots of fun and thrills. more

A little dirty, but it's the best in the area. 9/8/2005

The last time I went to Valley Fair I was slightly disappointed by how dumpy it had become. It seemed like everything there needed a good scrubbing and a fresh coat of paint. All the management needs to do is just spruce up the entire place to bring it back to the glory land it once was. That being said, a whole day of entertainment for that price can't be beat. From the water rides (the kids will love Thunder Canyon) to the roller coasters and the Power Tower, there is some thing to please everyone. In addition, there are always coupons to be found for discounted admission. It's also fun to get the fair food and watch the live entertainment Valley Fair provides. All in all, it's a decent place to go for entertainment. Have fun! more

great place to take your family 8/21/2005

Valley Fair is a great place to take your family, there are lots of fun rides, a water park included in normal admission, great parking situation, can get discounted tickets by going later in the day or looking online for promotions. Even without discounted tickets it is a reasonable price. Season pass is a great deal, you get free admission to all other cedar fair parks such as Cedar Point (the very best park for roller coasters) also if you get your season pass early in the year it is very cheap more

Valley Fair has been a tradition in the Twin Cities for a long time. It is a great park and a value at only a little over $30.00 per day. There is a water park, shows, and an amusement park to entertain the young and young at heart. The rides are great especially the Power Tower, Wild Thing, and Steel Venom. There is plenty to do and a fireworks show every night. more

Wow, this place is really the best amusement park in MN. Theres all the rides of amusement parks and a waterpark. Roller coasters like Steel Venom are fast and thrilling. Theres so much food here but if your unlucky and you come on a crowded day, you may have to wait more tahn 30 minutes for the rides .But overall this is a good family place to go to and I recommend to it to everybody. more
