PEOPLE ARE CRAZY 3/25/2009

My kids attend Dr.Booker office and has been going there for the last 4 years. People need to realize that is hard to deal with children and I think she does a wonderful job. My oldest son(which is only 6) was just there on MARCH 24, 2009 to get a tooth pulled and she did a wonderful job with keeping him calm. If people stop trying to look for bad in a person and look for more good they would not have a problem at all with Dr. Booker. more

Dentistry by Fear 2/10/2009

Despite the reputation that Dr. Booker has attained over the years, her dental practice is far from the glowing attributes previously spoken of. Upon my daughter's first visit, I observed a busy waiting room full of anxious children and parents. The physical appearance did not help to decrease any anxiety. Aside from the brilliantly colored carpeting, the lighting and lack of cleanliness was a poor reflection. The latter was reflected by a terrible odor coming from the carpet that was apparent on the 1st and 2nd visits. However, the most disconcerting of my experiences was the demeanor and approach of Dr. Booker. Apparently, her modus operandi is to scare the already frightened children into compliance. She remarked repeatedly in response to my child's anxiety: "Don't wake up my baby with your crying and whinng." The fictious "baby" was created to keep children from crying. To add insult to injury, my attempts to calm my child was met with equally disturbing behavior from Dr. Booker. S more

My daughter loves the dentist because of Dr Booker. 3/20/2006

My daughter started seeing Dr. Booker when she was 2 and I completely disagree with the review that she doesn't deal well with small children. She is wonderful! My daughter loved her so much that she would ask to go to the dentist, even though she had to get a tooth removed, caps put on, and other procedures normally quite scary to a child her age. After surgery that required anesthesia, the first thing she asked me when she woke up was "Where is Dr. Booker."Dr. Booker took the time to call my husband to ease his concerns and would even walk my daughter to our car after visits to buckle her into her seat. My son also visited her for his first dental appointments. We have since moved to TN. and my daughter still has fond memories of Dr. Booker and the "funny nose" used to calm young children. She continues to use Brushtime Bunny and my son loves it and it's song now as well. No other dentist is an adequate substitute in my daughter's eyes.I urge any parent looking for a great pediatric more

no patience with small children 12/3/2005

We attempted to use this dentist for my daughter when she was 2 after she chipped a tooth. The office was nice, lots of fun things for kids to do in the waiting room.Unfortunately, this dentist doesn't have much of a manner with children, after 3 appointments she was still unable or unwilling to fix my daughters tooth, which was becoming a cavity. The final time she suggested that something was wrong with my daughters temperament and insinuated we were bad parents. After being spoken to like that, that was it,we switched to a specialist who can handle my daughter and doesn't have to resort to trying to pin her down to examine teeth. more
