They didn't treat me nice 8/14/2011

I came with my mom for a massage as a present for her birthday. when I stepped-in they all starred on me and just kept their eyes on me the whole time. they gave me only 1 towel and when i asked for another one they wanted extra money. my mom went in to a massage and i was left at the steam room. one stuff member went in and said that i have to wait outside for my mom. I felt very bad and hurt! I will never go their again. more

STAY AWAY !!! 8/8/2011

Very bad experience!! STAY AWAY! I reserved a full body massage. The lady was very unprofessional. She used some oils and lotions on my body that smelled very weird...and GUESS WHAT???! I ended up with a skin FULL OF FUNGUS ALL OVER!!! It took me over 7 days to get rid of it!!! Legal action is on the way! more

TERRIBLE!!! 5/12/2010

Had a facial and bikini wax, the lady was lovely but not professional, she didn't give me a the spa experience that I payed for. In fact she cut down my time by at least 30 min. She squeezed my face so hard that she literally scraped the skin off my face, I'm in terrible pain a full 24 hours later. I called them to merely ask for a refund, I was passed on to the manager, who basically told me she could do nothing for me and didn't even let me finish my complaint, I was told I would have to speak to the woman who gave me the facial, and it was up to her discretion to give me a refund. I'm in actual pain at the moment, I look like I have been injured, I am a young nurse who will have to explain to my patients why my face looks like I have been burned. The facility itself was not very clean, the staff was friendly. Pros: relatively cheap but not work it! Cons: unprofessional, not a real spa experience. more

VERY MUCH UNDERRATED. DESERVES 3 THUMBS UP! 7/8/2009

Ok people, check this review out because it really is amazing…well, the spa is amazing, I don’t think my writing is up to amazing standards lol. Ok anyway, I won’t even lie, I have been living and working in the valley for a little over 8 years now off and on, and I have seen the ads on bus stops and billboards etc for ""Valley Day Spa"" and it just looked so clip-art-corny that I never went. Finally, my nail guy continuously is telling me to try the Day Spa on Tampa; Seaweed Body Wrap Spa Review Ok so I figure what the heck, let me see what it’s about. So I go ahead and book the appointment. O.M.G!, YOU HAVE GOT TO GO TO VALLEY DAY SPA! First off, the parking is great. I pulled right into the front and found up front parking. I was greeted by super friendly staff, given a quick tour and before I knew it I was sitting in the jacuzzi chillin out and waiting for my ""House Deluxe Special"" which includes a full body exfoliation, moisturizing, face mask, hair shampoo, and a 1 hour massage. Fabulous!!! My tips for the best experience at Day Spa: If your hung up about nakedness, this might not be the best place for you, as it is wide open and the wetroom treatments are not private, there are 4 beds in an alcove in which all treatments take place…but if you don’t mind the public nakedness amongst your gender - then it totally rocks. Another tip: Don’t go in for a wetroom treatment body exfoliation after a tan, because it will be allll gone by the end of the treatment. ok and finally, the whole bottom floor is the wetroom area, which looks like some underground chambers type feel, and upstairs where the massages take place, it looks like a plantation/mansion type of thing with crown moulding and hardwood floors in each room. I would have never thought this place to be SO huge and accomodating, but it was, and I will be back regularly! 3 thumbs up! Pros: FABULOUS COMBO MASSAGE & BODY SCRUB. CENTRAL LOCATION Cons: IT IS OFTEN HARD TO GET SAME DAY APPOINTMENT more

Bad business practices 3/10/2007

Please beware of this spa. Their business practices are very shady, and dishonest. I personally am reporting them to the appropriate business authorites for a situation that I experienced with them recently. I was baited, lied to, and then told that if I had a dispute about their policy and if I wanted to get my money back, I'd have to take it up with my credit card company. Very disreputable, and I would strongly suggest going to a different spa, even if it does cost you an extra $20 per massage. Pros: no comment Cons: plenty more

Not fancy but fabulous massages. 2/22/2007

I have only had fabulous massages here. Staff is predominantly Korean. I buy 90 minute massages in gift books of 10. The cost comes out to about $75.00 per massage. Best value anywhere. Located in a strip mall with a JoAnn fabric, and a plasma donation center. They provide other services which I have not tried, such as manicures, facials, etc. If you want the super fancy spa experience, this isn't it. If you want the best massage you will have in your life this is the place. Area for men and one for women. Pros: Local, close by, adequate parking, clean, professional more

Give a great massage! 11/6/2006

I think I have had some of my very best massages ever at this place, the therapists really get into it. I did'nt care much for the shared scrub room area but alone it was nice. ususally I don't run into too many other clients. They have a steam room (which I love) and a sauna and whirlpool. I have not tried any of the facials. I like that they are open late and weekends. Pros: Steam room, great massages, good value Cons: The sink area where you can put makeup on or blowdry hair is shared by the staff. more
