Upscale 6/5/2005

This is the Vallejo's for the under 50s group. A classic place with great decor and service. It's hours, decor, ambiance, menu are geared to the downtown office clientel. This is for the non-Spanish speakers who know what good, authentic Mexican food is and seek out places where they can get it. Pros: food, service, seldom crowded Cons: closed Sundays, too hip, noisy more

Need Better Service 11/28/2004

I have now eaten at the three Vallejo's in the downtown Sacramento area. I at at the one at 1331 O Street today and while the food was pretty good, the service was lousy. Things that should have been included in the dish were not and the waiter kept asking ""did you not find it in there?"" after he was told that something was missing. We wouldn't have told him something was missing if it weren't. I recommend that the owner(s) of the Vallejo's Mexican Restaurant at 1331 O Street, either hire new employees or retrain them. Pros: Good Value, Good Food more
