We had our reception at Valle Vista after our destination wedding and all i can say is everything was perfect! It was a very simple process meeting with the coordinater and going through everything we wanted and did want. I loved making those decisions :). The event went perfect with great food and the decorations were just what we expected. The bartender and serves were supper nice and did a great job! I would recommend Valle Vista to anyone! We had our reception on January 16th after a destination wedding and people are STILL complimenting us! The food was the BEST ANYONE had ever had at a reception, the atmosphere was great, the room was beautifully decorated and the staff was friendly and fun. We would do it again at Valle Vista!!! My wedding day was an absolute breeze! All I had to do was meet with the cooridinators in a few meetings before the wedding and pay on their easy payment plan.\r \r The day of the wedding, I just relaxed and enjoyed the day.\r \r Several of our guests have complimented me for being such a calm and relaxed bride. What did I have to worry about? Valle Vista did everything for me!\r \r Many of our guests are still commenting on how elegant and organized the whole event was. \r \r I cannot say enough nice things about this place. I had dreamed of having an outdoor wedding since I was a little girl, but in Indiana thats not always a reality. I was lucky enough to have a beautiful day, however it wouldn't have mattered since my guests would have been protected on the Veranda. I love the windows at Valle Vista, allowing my guests to have beautiful views of the golf course. They also worked with my vendors the day of the wedding, so that I didn't have to worry about the ""little things"". I found my whole experience to be amazing, truly amazing. I have had friends get married in other locations, and they had to do so much ""work"" themselves!!!!! Valle Vista helped me every step of the way! I highly recommend Valle Vista for weddings and receptions. My wife and I had a June wedding. I am not from the area and we had researched several locations but once we found Valle Vista, I knew that we had found the perfect place for our wedding. We had multiple planning appointments with the staff, keeping us on pace for what we needed to be doing for the wedding. They had a great payment plan, helping me to pay the wedding down before the event. They even had an awesome Ceremony Coordinator for us at the Rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. My wife was able to relax and enjoy the day without having to stress about all of the last minute wedding details. She even arrived with her father on a Horse and Carriage. After the Ceremony, we had some pictures taken while the guests went inside to the Reception Room. Once done, we had an amazing buffet with 4 different entrees. To this day, guests are still talking about the food that was served. The staff was attentive to my wife and I throughout the whole day. In what was supposed to be our special day, Valle Vista made it a nightmare. Where to start... first off everyone there gave us the run around in planning and the details of the wedding... I should have know then it was going to be bad. Misty was the worst of them all... won't retun calls or emails and when she does, they are lies. After a super rocky 6 months of planning, the big day comes and it is a pure disaster. First they somehow double-booked our wedding time with another couple, and we and all our guests had to wait in the LOBBY for over an hour while the other couple did their ceremony and finally left. Now to the reception, again they had no space for us so they set us up in this crappy, small room with no dance floor... outrageous! Then they treat us like it is all out fault, I couldn't believe it. I demanded a partial refund and they refused. Stay away from this place at all costs. It sounds nice but trust me, they will mess it up and not deliver. Pros: Food was decent Cons: Unorganized, overpriced, lies and a total ripoff! more

This was the worst wedding experience...ever. There were three coordinators, all telling us different things. There were other bridal parties where our party should be. They wouldn't let us take our family photos. They lied about everything, it was very unorganized. No personal attention, at all for us or vendors. Living Hell. Pros: Cheap Cons: Unorganized more

I had my wedding and reception recently at Valle Vista and had high expectations from personal referrals. When I arrived the day of the wedding no one was there to direct me where to go, had to go and hunt coordinator down 2 floors up, guests had no where to hang their coats and were not allowed to go up to reception room to drop off gifts, coordinator was busy decorating upstairs for two other receptions rather than being close by to handle problems, my bakery person couldn't find anyone to direct her where to go and I had to direct her myself or she would have delivered my cake out to the area where the ceremony was about to occur. Because I didn't make a scene or ruin my day by addressing with the staff that day, I was totally blown off. They said they did a thorough investigation, but they didn't talk to any of my guests or other vendors. They only looked at their cameras but never directly addressed the issues that I've mentioned here. They just danced around it and never directly addressed it. No apology, no refund of any kind. The coordinator told us that she was wearing two hats that day and to go have her paged for problems, rather than her doing surveilence rounds and addressing things herself. So if you don't mind being on your own and having your friends and outside vendors fielding problems and your guests not being directed, then Valle Vista is your place, I found that very disorganized and I felt I had to pay the price for their lack of adequate staffing.
