I had my wedding and reception recently at Valle Vista and had high expectations from personal referrals. When I arrived the day of the wedding no one was there to direct me where to go, had to go and hunt coordinator down 2 floors up, guests had no where to hang their coats and were not allowed to go up to reception room to drop off gifts, coordinator was busy decorating upstairs for two other receptions rather than being close by to handle problems, my bakery person couldn't find anyone to direct her where to go and I had to direct her myself or she would have delivered my cake out to the area where the ceremony was about to occur. Because I didn't make a scene or ruin my day by addressing with the staff that day, I was totally blown off. They said they did a thorough investigation, but they didn't talk to any of my guests or other vendors. They only looked at their cameras but never directly addressed the issues that I've mentioned here. They just danced around it and never directly addressed it. No apology, no refund of any kind. The coordinator told us that she was wearing two hats that day and to go have her paged for problems, rather than her doing surveilence rounds and addressing things herself. So if you don't mind being on your own and having your friends and outside vendors fielding problems and your guests not being directed, then Valle Vista is your place, I found that very disorganized and I felt I had to pay the price for their lack of adequate staffing. Would not recommend.
Pros: Good price, good food, pretty grounds
Cons: Understaffed, overbooked, if dissatisfied no resolution
