My dog ate something he shouldn't have, foil and packaging included. He came in with constipation and trouble urinating. They stated that the food product that he ate was not dangerous, which I knew, but I was concerned about the packaging blocking his intestines. After a very sparkly looking x-ray, an enema, and medication, my dog was fine after a few days. The only thing I had a problem with, was that the vet prescribed medication to prevent vomiting, though vomiting would be one way to get the packaging out of the stomach, therefore preventing any more of the foil/packaging from getting to the intestines.
