Vale Edge Floral Shop

I think this is one of the most unique stores in Ravenna. It's a florist and Hallmark store. The people in the Hallmark side of things are really friendly and helpful, always try to help me find what I need or give suggestions for gifts. They have lots of nice things everytime I go there, from jewelry to purses, cards, gifts, etc. Also the florist has really beautiful floral arrangements, very artistic and a good value, too. Nice to go there on my lunch breaks! more

First of all, I live out of state and my wedding is in Ohio. I tried to work with Vale Edge via email and phone, but they were not helpful in the least. It took almost 3 months for them to tell me, and I quote, "I can NOT work with your budget." This was after several back and forths because they did not have my correct contact information (I have one phone number and one email address, it's not that difficult). Never once did they say 'let's see, if we substitute this flower instead of this one', or 'the flowers you like are more expensive than your budget allows, would you consider increasing your budget or would you like more budget-friendly options?' The woman I spoke to was not only unprofessional and rude, but she seemed to just want to get rid of me. Needless to say, I will be taking my increased budget elsewhere. more

I've been a Vale Edge customer for 30+ years and have never been disappointed. They have always provided me with beautiful floral arrangements and plants for all occasions at reasonable prices, with delivery in a timely manner. Everyone I've ever dealt with has been friendly and helpful, offering advice and suggestions to get the most bang for my buck. I recommend them without reservation. more

I love Vale Edge, because the people who work there are so good--and the selection of flowers is excellent. The florist also spent a lot of time with me (over an hour!) doing a floral consultation for wedding arrangements (the consultation was free--which is great!). The flowers are just BEAUTIFUL. The florist told me that they buy only top-grade flowers, so they last longer than the ones at the grocery store. And the store is nice, too--there's a Hallmark store, too. And they have lots of great gifts and jewelry (that's where I got my cute Chamilia bead bracelet--they have this great program too, so I pretty much get a free bead later!). The people who work there are so nice and are always willing to help me out if I'm looking for something in particular. Great store! It's a lot of fun to look around when I go by the store after work! PROS: Great variety and gifts, Good service. CONS: ? Can't really think of any more

I normally don't write reviews for this sort of thing but I just felt compelled to give Vale Edge it's due because of the great service I received. I don't know much about flowers and needed a quick bouquet for my girlfriend (It was our 6 month anniversary and I totally forgot to pick something up for her!). I was running late and the sales people were super kind and quick made me up a great set of Daisies (her favorite) for me. So good in fact that my girlfriend who used to work with a florist said it was the best bouquet she had ever seen! Saved my life! PROS: Great people and product. CONS: What cons?! more

I ordered flowers for my wife for our anniversary through FTD and Vale Edge was the shop that got the order. The flowers were wonderful, but when I looked at them, the first thing I saw was this HUGE gold foil sticker with all of Vale Edge's information on it.... Right in the middle of the bow on the front of the arrangement. Tacky. PROS: Local. CONS: Poor judgement. more
