POORLY TREATED STAFF!!!!! 3/30/2011

I am and have been a client at royalton road animal hospital for quite some time now. I was in the office the other day while my dog was in surgery, and while I was there the manager was yelling and screaming at one of her employees to the point when the employee walked by me she was in tears, and made me very uncomfortable! This isnt the first time I have been in there and this has happened! This Manager lady is always standing around doing nothing at all and all she does is yell and scream. This is not the way business should be run especially when there are ""clients"" in the building. I will no longer be taking my animals to this facility anymore and have recommended several of my friends to do the same. I have since found another hospital to take my animals to, where the environment is more friendly and less gloomy. I will also be making a report to the BBB. This is ridiculous. If I could have given them a 0 i would have but 1 is as low as it will let me. Please feel free to email me or respond to this letter if you are a client of this facility and need a refference for another hospital. Thank you for your time! and God Bless!! more

Looking for two former clients of this hospital .... 9/14/2010

I'm looking to contact two former clients of this practice that I've lost contact with. One's name is Christine H. she had a dog named Ally who passed away from lymphoma. She adopted a lab pup after Ally passed named McCoy. The other woman I believe's name is Michelle K . She purchased a golden retriever from the (now gone) breeders on route 18. If either of you read this .... please look me up on facebook. more

really like this place 5/10/2010

My wife and I have taken out pets here for 25 years. We've never had cause to complain about anything, other than, like for everything else, prices go up every couple years.\r At a friend's advice, I tried another vet in the N. Royalton area, and we were very dissapointed. Kept our sick cat for observation and never answered our questions about what will this cost. Turned out to be $800, and she said ""I didn't think price was an issue when you want your cat to be well.""\r Royalton Rd Animal Hospital has always been very straight with us- quality care for the money.\r Pros: efficient, courteous, always quality work Cons: can't think of any more

Stay away.... 4/24/2009

Royalton Road veterinary clinic is about one thing... the money. During a (very long) wait in an exam room I overhead the head Dr (Edgar) talking to a tech about how to get more money out of a client that had a very sick pet. I also heard him say he doesn't believe animals go to heaven while discussing a pet with a very callous attitude. This is NOT the type of doctor I want treating my animal. We always saw Dr. Wehrung and he seemed to be a good doctor, but much of the staff is HORRIBLE. The office manager (Marcy) is rude and unprofessional. She was more worried about getting money for my pets euthansia than she was my emotional upset. And one of the techs (Conny) was the worst person I've ever come across in the medical field. She acted as if it put her out to care for my cat who was dying. I will never ever go to this clinic and would advise you to steer far far away. more

They may seem nice,,,,, 2/9/2008

I had always been a client at Royalton Hospital, as well as my family members. I had noticed that my 4 year old Terrier was acting very lethargic so I took her in to see them. They did absolutly nothing except take my money and give me a bag of fluids to give to my dog myself at home with NO explanations, or testing or ANYTHING!! After numerous office visits, they only thing they did was drain my checking account while my dog was extremely sick. Suffice to say, I went to another clinic for a second opinion, and they had tested and figured out THAT DAY what was ailing my dog. The new clinic I go to in Parma actually EDUCATES their clients, so after only a few visits there, I realized that Royalton lacked in SO many areas for my dogs health.\r One of my favorite things about them,,,, when I called to have my dogs records faxed to the new clinic, they gave me attitude, said ok, and hung up. Very proffesional.\r \r NEVER will I take or let my family go to them. more

Great Place... 9/20/2005

I have taken my family’s three dogs here all their lives. The place is kinda like Cheers, except everybody knows your dogs name (which is a feat, because my dog is named Tanqueray). It is neat and clean, and they provide services for all breeds and animals. The assistants and vets are courteous, work hard to make sure everything goes smoothly, and are very good at starting appointments on time. Overall, very pleased with the service here. more
