Worst

I did not appreciate my visits to this vet hospital. They refused to give me a student discount and they insisted on unecessary vaccines for my indoor pets.

Clean, friendly, trust-worthy 5/18/2012

We have a black lab and a cat, both of which we take to VCA for any and all medical and grooming needs. We are always treated very kind, the waiting rooms are clean, we probably pay a bit more here than another vets, but the service is well worth the cost. My husband and I highly recommend VCA to anyone looking for an honest, caring, and skilled vet and groomer. Pros: null Cons: null more

Will Never Return 7/26/2011

I've gone to the same Vet for years (Beechwold Vet) but noticed VCA Mill Run Animal Hospital on my way to work today. I thought I could save myself some time and pick up my dogs heartworm and flea medication on my way home from work and save myself the drive out to Beechwold. BIG MISTAKE. After two phone calls to their office I was told that they carried the medication I needed but I would need to have my dogs files faxed over for them to serve me. I was also told that they price match to 1800PetMeds. Great. So I spent 30 minutes or so getting them my dogs medical records as well as looking up prices on 1800petmeds. I stopped in after work assuming it would be a quick medication pickup. After spending almost 30 minutes waiting in their lobby I was told that they ""ran out"" of BOTH the medications I was told they had earlier in the day. Another vet tech walking by confirmed that they were out and informed that they don't normally carry those medications at all. An hour of my day wasted and no apology from their staff. Poor customer service at its finest. I will never return to their business and I would recommend you check out Beechwold or NorthStar Vets in columbus if you're looking for somewhere to take your dog or cat. more

My Angies List Review - now here 12/8/2010

During an 11 day boarding - they had SPECIFIC instructions to medicate my dog (which they charge for by the way) on a very sensitive drug that cannot be halted or administered improperly. The amount and frequency to give was clearly labeled on the bottle by my vet - 1 and 1/2 pill - one time daily. Pills were already halved. It should have been a no-brainer right? There were only enough pills in the bottle to make it through the 11 day visit to avoid them giving her too much - 11 whole pills, 11 half pills. Much to my surprise - out of the 11 days of medicine that was provided - 8 whole pills and 3 half pills came back!!! When I contacted them to see why so much of the medicine came back, they could not tell me. They had no records of daily dose administration (or just wouldn't tell me that they screwed up). I requested a call back from the manager 2 days ago, and no call has been made. Now I am stuck with vet bills, a sick dog and other expenses due to their incompetence.\r \r We have b more

The only vet I trust 1/3/2010

I love, love, love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. When my cat was a kitten she had a lot of health issues, and I had to be at the vet at least once every 2 weeks, often more than that. My vet not only obviously cared about my pet, but made every effort to try to reduce the amount of money I was paying. I'm a student and a waitress and was struggling to pay for her treatments, so it was an immense help to me. I will never take my cat anywhere else. I highly recommend Dr. Tod Beckett, though every vet who works there is wonderful. more

Great groomer 7/27/2009

It took me awhile to find a great groomer, but I did with Julia (there is also a Julie who is a groomer, and I didn't like what she did with my dog as much). She did everything I asked, but kept to the breed standard which I can't even pretend to know anything about. Anyway, she always made Maddy look great. Now I have to find someone out here in Portland OR to replace her - no easy task. Pros: Staff, Clean office Cons: Nothing more
