VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital

We have been going to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for about 10 years now and highly recommend this hospital and especially recommend Dr. Laura Deloatch. She has such compassion and genuine love for our 4 legged kids, not to mention we trust her expertise and knowledge and feel so lucky to have found her. We have had to leave our 11 year old cat, Koko, in the hospital a couple times over the years and knowing that the tech's and staff are there for her overnight is the only way I was able to make it through the night myself as they truely care about their patients. Also, ""Doc Laura"" practices western veterinary medicine but incorporates homeopathic therapies and acupuncture if you would like. I was not a true believer in acupuncture until we needled Koko a couple years ago and saw a drastic improvement in her demeanor. She was unfortunately recently diagnosed with Kidney disease and I've attached a picture of her getting acupuncture a couple weeks ago, she LOVES it, lays there so relaxed and shows a remarkable improvement in appetite and comfort. We feel so lucky to have found this facility 10 years ago with it's top notch staff! more

My cat would gag once in a while and although I thought that was normal, and I brought him to Deer Creek just to make sure he was okay. All of his vitals seemed fine but my vet, Dr. Kuschel, felt like something else was going on. After some blood work and other tests, they told me that something was not right with his spleen. They recommended removal and after the surgery,they told me that his spleen was enlarged to the point that it had rips in it and there was internal bleeding. He has a new lease on life and is acting 10 years younger now. The whole staff is friendly, professional and geniune. They are also human and sometimes have a bad day. Don't we all. To work in an animal hospital has to be heartbreaking and very stressful at times. I would highly recommend Deer Creek. Over the years I have brought in stray and hurt animals to Deer Creek and they have donated their time and care to them and on top of that, helped to find them great homes. I cannot say enough about Deer Creek. They are the best of the best! more

If you want the best care available for your dog or cat, this is the place for you. Everyone here is the best, the staff up front, the techs, and the fabulous doctors. Not only are these the best doctors around, the rest of the staff are just as knowledgeable and everyone here is so caring and compassionate. I would not trust my dogs to anyone else! more
