RUNN!! These people will rip you off - don't fall for the free first exam scheme. They will just triple charge you for everything else. The vet was cold and unfriendly to my cat and my cat picked up fleas from our visit! more

Wonderful care to a first time client 10/22/2011

My dog, of course, needed to go to the vet on a Saturday afternoon. This was the only vet around I could find that was open other than the emergency vet. When I called their exam fee was reasonable and they were helpful on the phone. I had been gone a couple of hours and come home to my Lab drooling and not able to walk well when I let her out of her crate. Pros: null Cons: null more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! 10/13/2010

We took our cat to this vet in a panic, because he seemed to have hurt his neck. We weren't sure what had cause it but the only assumption we could possible come to is it was from disciplining him for going potty in the wrong spot. We felt awful, and although we are college students expecting a new baby and have NO extra money we took the cat to this clinic. When we arrived they practically tore the cat from our arms and I accused us of not only being ignorant when it came to the care of our cat but also of abusing our cat. The wanted to charge us almost $400 for all sorts of tests the thought necessary and frowned upon us wanting to just take pain medicine for the cat and wait it out.(needless to say the cat was better by the next morning) When I got to the counter to pay for the medicine the secretary told me a price that was much different than what we had agreed upon, and refused to accommodate us based on what we had been quoted. We decided to cancel our follow-up appoint with this clinic and take the cat somewhere else as we were still upset with this place a week later. We are still in the process of getting our money back for being over charged, as every time we call they always promise to return our call and do not. Yesterday we received a knock on our door from the animal protection agency and apparently now we are under investigation for animal abuse. This place was horrible, I would never take any other animal here, they completely ripped us off, were rude and now we have a hole new set of problems with the animal protection agency. more

Stay FAR AWAY! 4/29/2010

From the moment I stepped in the door with my pet they were rude, tried to intimidate me into doing something I didn't want to do, and actually HARMED my pet - hurt her eyes and teeth, but I was forced to sign a paper saying I wouldn't sue them, that they could do anything they wanted to do. I will never ever ever set foot in the door of this place again, and would STRONGLY recommend that you stay as far away from them as possible. Surely there are better places to take your pet. They should be put out of business!!!! Pros: NONE Cons: Intimidating, Rude, Overcharged, Uninformed, AWFUL! more

Very thorough and compassionate veteranarians. 11/4/2008

Our twelve year old shar-pei had to be put to sleep earlier this year. They were very thorough and they discussed all of our options prior to the process. We knew that he wouldn't make it and they respected our decision. They were extremely compassionate through the entire process and they treated him with the respect and care that he deserved. Pros: They are thoughtful, compassionate and were close to home for us. Cons: Vet care is expensive no matter where you go. more

Better as a Companion Pet Clinic. 1/5/2008

The location is good, the Dr's are sweet, but the prices a bit high. In a pinch I would take my animals there, but I would be sure to have a lot of cash on me! more

Good vets 9/28/2007

I've taken my animals here for quite a while. I can always walk in without an appointment and be seen. They are usually very friendly and the vets know what to do. more

Pet Clinic-Good Doctors, great stafff, reasonably priced 8/1/2005

I took my dog there because another clinic kept trying to overcharge me for the services that I needed for the animal and would not call back with information when I needed to talk to them. So by mutual consent, we terminated the other veternarian services and went to Companion Pet. We received excellent service, understanding of our situation and were charged half the price of the other clinic! I have gone back there several times and have received excellent service and kind, understanding doctors. They really work at being of service to the pet owner. PROS: Good service, excellent doctors and good explanation of services needed. CONS: Walk in clinic but still do not have to wait very long! more
