It is time to share my story. I was once a long standing customer of this Vet. Then Dr. Pope left. Briarcliff became VCA. It changed from a veterinarian who cared about your pet to a veterinarian who cared about your ability to pay. I had a kitty, an indoor/outdoor kitty. He got mauled by some dogs who were roaming across our property. At that time my ability to pay was limited. I couldn't charge it, having just gone through a divorce and subsequent bankruptcy, I had to pay cash. I exhausted my savings for his care and I ran out of money. I asked for help, let me make payments. No, they said, they couldn?t extend me any further. They can?t help me if I can?t pay. My beautiful loving baby died very painfully because they wouldn?t let me put him down or give me some pain meds for him to ease his passing. I had run out of money and their time apparently.
