Wonderful Job Done! 3/6/2008

I signed for Utopia to rent out my condo at the beginin of 2007 and they have done a WONDERFUL job! Unfortunately I will be moveing back in to my condo in a couple of months and will be canceling my contract with them. Thank you for the wonderful job you have done and I am sure I will be using Utopia again. more

DO NOT RECOMMEND UTOPIA AT ALL! 3/5/2008

We've had issues with Utopia since day 1. Our account manager was HORRIBLE. We thought it was us until we had a friend look at our place at he told us that: she was late for the appointment without an apology, did not greet our friend and pretty much just opened the door and didn't show him around. On top of this they DO NOT stick to their 24hr return call policy. Our Acct Manager even had the nerve to blame US! Pros: Absolutely none Cons: Everything more

Great first experience 2/29/2008

My husband is in the military and when the orders came through for us to relocate to Japan, I was heart broken. Not only did I have to leave San Diego, but I had to leave behind the new home that we had put so much time, money, and effort in to. We didn't want to sell but we weren't too thrilled about the idea of renting it out to people (you just never know who you're going to get!), much less managing it all the way from Japan! In the end, we decided that we needed to keep the home and lease it out. We interviewed quite a few management companies and decided to go with Utopia. From the first visit with the Sales Rep all the way to the communication I have had with my property manager I have felt extremely comforting knowing that this staff is looking out for my best interest. Not only did they find me great tenants in such a short amount of time (less than 3 weeks!!), but they understood that I was completely new to this and were very patient in walking me through the entire process! I have used other management companies in the past with bad results. Now I have been with Utopia Management and I am very happy and thought it would be good for others to know that there are good management companies out there and I found one with Utopia. I am also in the military. more

A Great Experience 2/27/2008

I have been extremely happy with the speed with which Utopia has been able to flip my property and get tenants quickly placed into my property. Thanks so much for your assistance and care of our funds during the past couple of years. We know it's a busy office and sometimes things get a bit crazy, but in the end you've always done a great job of getting it all squared away! more

Great Service 2/21/2008

I have never had to rent my condo until recently and since I am in the Military I needed someone to help me. I found Utopia to be very professional and they took care of the maintance got the place painted and cleaned. What happened was I had ordered something that was on back order and I forgot about it when I moved out. The tenants called Utopia and they went out to pick up what I ordered. It was so nice to know that there is an office for me to go to that is open regular buisness hours and I was able to pick up my package. I am pleased with the type of people that Utopia has working for them I could count on them. Pros: thumbs up more

Great Customer Service 2/15/2008

I moved from out of state and was completly new to California and the San Diego County and needed assistance finding a new home, I searched Utopia Managment and contacted them immediatly . They were extremely professional ,prompt and offered me and my family execeptional customer service, we were moved in within a week to a beutiful home in a great community. I was very satisfied not only with Utopia but with there highly trained personnel they where very efficient in returning my callls to any un answered questions me or my family had. I highly reccomend Utopia, they are quick , efficient, professional and offer great customer service. They made my moving experience so much easier and pleasent and completly stress free. Best compny Ever! 2/15/2008

I'm new to this hole property managment thing and i was really nervious about doing it on my own and having to signeing a contract thu a compnay. i done some homework to see which company would be good for me and i finally dicided on going with utopia management. I was really impresed with how fast they replyed to my email and how friendly they were. they seemed really organised and had it together. They fave me all the information i needed so that i can make a good choice for whats rite for me even tho i wasn't quite ready to sign. they didn't brush me off like some of the other ones when they found out that i'm not ready. they just kept very patience and stuck with me until i was ready. i'm already teliing all my friends about them so that they can have there home managed or rent thro these people. more

Super Customer Service 2/15/2008

I rent a studio in Cardiff through Utopia Management and I want to thank you for having a caring professional like Juanita on your team. There has been some water damage in the bathroom and there was an electrical problem on the exterior of the unit as well, and Juanita has been understanding, reasonable, prompt and clear in her communication, methodology, strategy and follow through with the situation. I am grateful to work with Juanita, and I appreciate her efforts to resolve the issues. She has sent a very caring, dedicated and thorough professional -- Abel -- on the job and communicating with Abel has also been a very positive experience. more

My partner and I came to Utopia because we had 2 houses in Spring Valley that we needed to get rented. The staff was very responsive to our needs, especially since we had 2 houses to rent. Diana and Lynn in the new business department, and especially our property manager Krista, have been a pleasure to work with. We signed our contract on 9/15/07 and by the 25th they already had a signed lease and deposit on our 1st home. We are so satisfied with our service from Utopia that we are looking to bring a 3rd home to them for management. We would recommend them to anyone. KUDOS!!! Cons: Absolutely None more

Utopia Management is such a breath of fresh air!!! 12/4/2007

It's good know that I'm finally working with people who know what they are doing. They are very organized and professional. I came to Utopia because I was tired of working with people that don't care about my rental home like they do. The last place felt like I was working with commission based sales people who gimmick you into signing a contract and Utopia isn't like that at all. It's very relaxed and they gave me all the information and the time to think my options through before signing anything. They even came out to my house for a no-obligation consultation appointment. For Free!!! I didn't feel rushed when I had questions and they didn't make me feel stupid for asking them. The other great thing about them is that they are very honest with you and stright forward. I don't have any surprises with Utopia. The last company spend my money and they wouldn't provide any proof. Here, I get an itemized monthly statement and they even email it to me simply because I asked. The first girl, Diana, was friendly and knowledgable when I spoke with her on the phone and she really paid attentioned to details. I actually had forgotten to leave her my other phone number one time and she was able to called me back. I like that they are very organized. Lynn's the other lady and she was the one that came out to meet with me at my house. She was friendly and really told me how things were. She didn't try to lie to me to sign anything and she really helped me get my home ready to rent for the top dollar value. I had questions about everything and she had an answer. A good answer!!! They work really well as a team and I'm really looking forward to working with my property manager. I feel like I can really trust them with my house. With Utopia I really feel like they are working for me and not the other way around. It's such a good feeling to get the weight off of my shoulders and placing it in the hands of a professional like Utopia Management. more

We have been renting with Utopia for four years now and have been happy with our property and the customer service of the staff. We have found all of the staff to be courteous, respectful, and absolutely professional in response to all queries. Any issues we have had during our time with Utopia have been taken care of quickly and I would consider myself a very satisfied customer. We will continue renting with Utopia and if we were considering moving we would first look at the other properties Utopia has available. You Can't Fire Us 10/9/2007

""Just because you want to fire us does not mean your husband wants to fire us, too."" The account manager had the audacity to tell me this morning that I was not authorized to act on the contract, and therefore, Utopia did not accept my letter to terminate them. She wanted a termination letter signed by my husband or power of attorney statement. Cons: Endless. Don't hire them. more

Best Customer Services 9/26/2007

I do not ever write to these things but I have had the best experience with this company over all of the rental companies I have ever gone threw, An I just wanted other people to know that this is a great company to rent from or to have your home Managed by. I think that all of these negative comments about Utopia Management are absurd. I have had nothing but great experiences with Utopia Management they have always called me back in a timely manner, Plus any problems I have had with maintenance issues they have taken care of for me within a reasonable time. I understand that they cannot stop everything for me to fix my problems with my house right away but they did try there best to take care of it ASAP. Pros: Everything about them is great they do a excellent job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: I have none more

I JUST GOT DONE READING ALL THE REVIEWS ON UTOPIA , AND I COMPLETLY DISAGREE.....WHEN I RENTED FROM THEM THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONDED TO ALL MY CALL AND I WAS APPROVED WITHIN 24 HOURS AND ANY COMPALINTS I HAVE WHICH ARE A FEW THEY RESPOND TO ME WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THEY HAVE A 24 HOUR EMERGENCY PAGER AND YOU COULD ALWAYS GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE!!!! ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ARE JUST FROM PEOPLE THAT NEED TO NOT SIGN SOMEHTING THEY LATER REGRET EVERYONE KNOWS A SIGNED LEASE IS NOT JUST A PAPER IT IS A CONTRACT!!!GROW UP STOP HATING!!!!!
